UFC 299 Media Day brought fans a unique and free opportunity to be part of the pre-fight excitement. Attendees reveled in the chance to witness their favorite fighters up close, with some lucky fans even getting to pose questions to the fighters.
The atmosphere inside the venue was electric, and the divide among fans was palpable, particularly during interactions with headliners “Suga” Sean O’Malley and Marlon “Chito” Vera. The arena seemed split in support, with a strong showing of Hispanic fans rallying behind the Ecuadorian fighter “Chito” Vera. The passionate support from this group added an extra layer of intensity to the lead-up of their clash.
South Florida fighters Gilbert Burns and Dustin Poirier also garnered substantial support from the crowd, their local ties turning the arena into a sea of cheers. And of course, Kevin Holland, known for his engaging demeanor and ever-present smile, naturally drew fans to his corner, creating an infectious energy that only he can bring to a UFC event.
As Media Day set the stage for UFC 299, the diverse fan reactions and interactions with fighters hinted at the excitement and anticipation that would undoubtedly spill over into the main event. The event showcased the unique bond between fighters and fans, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of mixed martial arts action.
