From the moment the gates opened, the sea of black t-shirts, fishnet sleeves, and meticulously styled and dyed hair made it clear this was a congregation for lovers of heavy, unapologetic music. Falling In Reverse — supported by an all-star lineup of Wage War, Tech N9ne, and Sleep Theory — delivered a full-scale audio-visual assault that left a packed South Florida crowd breathless, hoarse, and with necks sore from head-banging.

The honor of awakening the beast fell to Memphis-based newcomers Sleep Theory and the quartet exploded onto the stage with a visceral urgency that belied their opening slot. Their sound is a potent cocktail of nu-metal nostalgia and contemporary metalcore precision, driven by the immense vocal versatility of frontman Cullen Moore. He seamlessly transitioned from soulful, melodic crooning on “Numb”  into guttural, rage-filled screams during “Static“, captivating the early arrivals. Moore’s commanding stage presence and genuine gratitude for the roaring response set a high bar and warmed up the crowd’s vocal cords for the chaos to come.

If Sleep Theory built the foundation, legendary alt-rapper Tech N9ne set the entire structure ablaze with a hypersonic onslaught of pure lyrical fury. The shift in genre was drastic, yet it felt perfectly organic, and from the moment his signature rapid-fire bars dropped, the amphitheater transformed into the world’s largest rap mosh pit. Tech N9ne is a virtuoso, a master of his craft whose tongue-twisting, machine-gun flow is a spectacle in itself. Backed by a live band that expertly conveyed the energetic hype of his albums into a concert environment, Tech tore through a career-spanning setlist that included monstrous hits like “Riotmaker“, “Worldwide Choppers” and “Caribou Lou”. The crowd responded in kind with every word shouted back with feverish intensity, clear evidence of his cross-genre appeal in alternative circles. His performance was a breathtaking display of stamina and technical prowess, a reminder that true talent transcends genre labels and unites audiences under the banner of sheer skill and explosive energy.

As the sun fully set and the stage was reset, the anticipation for Wage War reached a fever pitch. The Ocala, Florida natives were welcomed as hometown heroes, and they responded with a set that was nothing short of devastatingly heavy and emotionally resonant. From the opening chord of “TOMBSTONE”, they unleashed a tsunami of sound that was both brutally precise and emotionally raw. Vocalists Briton Bond and Cody Quistad were a study in contrasts—Bond’s harrowing, from-the-gut screams juxtaposed against Quistad’s soaring, angelic clean melodies—that together create Wage War’s signature sound of beautiful devastation. Tracks like “Godspeed” and “Circle the Drain” incited some of the biggest circle pits of the night, the blistering dual guitar harmonies, earth-shattering breakdowns, and anthemic choruses leaving the crowd exhausted yet ready for more.

Then, finally, the moment of truth was here. The screens flickered to life as a giant Ronnie puppet appeared, teasing the entrance of the band as back-stage video of their pre-show rituals rolled on the giant LED screen flanking the stage. Finally, the always-controversial Ronnie Radke emerged, silhouetted against the smoke and strobes, and with a roar, the descent into madness began. Falling In Reverse’s set was a relentless, hit-packed barrage that showcased the band’s unique refusal to be pigeonholed into one genre. One moment, they were delivering the blistering metalcore of “I’m Not a Vampire”, the next, they were diving into the rap-rock swagger of “Popular Monster”, and then the shockingly catchy country anthem “All My Women”.

Through it all, Radke commanded the stage with an almost supernatural charisma, his vocal performance flawless whether he was delivering rapid-fire rhymes, piercing screams, or pitch-perfect melodic hooks. The production was absolutely staggering as pyrotechnics erupted in sync with every kick drum, fog cannons burst during climactic choruses, and the video screens provided a constant, hypnotic narrative. The title track of the tour “God Is A Weapon” felt like an apocalyptic event, its crushing intensity and orchestral elements fully realized in the live setting (and song collaborator Marilyn Manson even making a special appearance onscreen).

But beyond the spectacle, it was the connection that defined the night. Radke—often a polarizing figure—was nothing but gracious, frequently pausing to soak in the deafening adulation and thank the fans for their loyalty, and even wandering out into the crowd to perform “NO FEAR“. Falling in Reverse also brought back out Tech N9ne for their fiery performance of “Ronald“, and during the set-closing “Watch the World Burn”, the entire amphitheater became a choir as they sung every word. As the final pyro blast faded into the South Florida night and the exhausted, sweat-drenched crowd filed out, one thing was for certain: Love Him or Hate Him, Ronnie Radke and Falling in Reverse certainly know how to put on an incredible show.
