Las Olas Wine & Food Festival – REVIEW

Sips, Bites, and Boulevard Vibes: A Night at the 2025 Las Olas Wine & Food Festival.
April 25th, 2025
If there’s one thing Fort Lauderdale knows how to do, it’s throw a party—and the 2025 Las Olas Wine & Food Festival proved it once again. On April 25th, the iconic Las Olas Boulevard transformed into a five-block culinary playground, where food, drink, music, and community collided in the best way possible.
The atmosphere was electric on Las Olas boulevard. More than 50 of South Florida’s hottest restaurants came out to play, serving up everything from fiery tacos to delicate seafood, gourmet pastries to bold Caribbean bites. The likes of Timpano Las Olas, Fogo de Chão, Chef Rose Jamaican Cuisine, and Even Keel Fish & Oyster Bar kept taste buds dancing all night long.
But the food was just half the fun. With over 200 varieties of wine, spirits, and craft beers, the drink scene was as diverse as it was delicious. Whether you were sipping a chilled white, tasting a small-batch bourbon, or cooling off with a citrusy cocktail, there was something to pair with every plate—and every personality.
VIPs kicked off the night with a stylish pre-party at the Riverside Hotel, complete with flowing Aperol Spritzes and bites from Wild Sea and Shooters Waterfront, thanks to hosts like Florida Power & Light and Amerant Bank. But once the gates to the main event opened, it was all about the rhythm of the street. DJs and live bands kept the crowd moving, strangers became friends over shared plates, and the whole boulevard buzzed with that uniquely South Florida energy—laid-back, lively, and a little luxe.
Best of all? Every bite and sip went toward something bigger. Proceeds from the festival supported the American Lung Association, helping fund vital research and lung health education. Great food, great vibes, and a great cause? That’s a triple win.
Standout Moments:
-
A smoky rum cocktail that perfectly paired with jerk chicken from Jerk Machine
-
Gourmet bagel bites from Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe that somehow stole the show
-
Dancing with a glass of wine in hand while a saxophonist jammed under the stars
Whether you came for the wine, stayed for the food, or just followed the music, the 2025 Las Olas Wine & Food Festival was a night to remember. If you weren’t there, put it on your radar for next year—it’s a celebration of South Florida’s flavor, flair and community spirit.
