Space Explorers: The Infinite – REVIEW
The Kravis Center Brings You a Truly Out-of-the-World Experience with Space Explorers: The Infinite.
June 2nd, 2024
Step into a world where the cosmos comes alive, right here on Earth. “Space Explorers: The Infinite” has already captivated over 400,000 visitors, and now it’s West Palm Beach’s turn to embark on this extraordinary journey at the Kravis Center.
Inspired by real NASA missions, this exhibit provides an unparalleled experience of space exploration. Through a state-of-the-art virtual 3D replica of the International Space Station (ISS), you’ll float in space alongside astronauts and witness the breathtaking sights of Earth, all without leaving the ground. The immersive VR technology transports guests 250 miles above Earth, offering a unique perspective that few have ever seen.
The experience goes beyond mere observation; it immerses you in the essence of space exploration. You’ll engage in exclusive encounters with astronauts and enjoy serene moments of Earth-gazing. The journey includes a 30-minute explorative walk and a 10-minute seated video that further enhances your understanding of life in space.
While some visitors may initially feel a bit disoriented, most quickly adapt to the sensation. The exhibit is available in both English and French, a nod to its creation in Montreal. Importantly, the experience is accessible to everyone, regardless of visual impairments, ensuring that whether you’re nearsighted, farsighted, or wear glasses, you’ll enjoy the same awe-inspiring views.
“Space Explorers: The Infinite” will leave you in awe, offering rare moments of reflection and a deeper understanding of the gravity of astronauts’ experiences. This fantastical odyssey is welcoming to all and promises to be a highlight of your summer.
Based on the Primetime EMMY-Award® winning series “Space Explorers: The ISS Experience,” the world’s most extensive media project filmed in space, this exhibit was created and produced by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with TIME Studios and NASA.
Don’t miss your chance to explore the infinite from June 4 to September 2, 2024. Visit kravis.org/space-explorers-the-infinite for scheduled dates and times. Tickets start at $35 and are available online at kravis.org.
