Rod Wave Wraps Up Epic ‘Last Lap’ Tour in Sunrise

Rod Wave Brings His Unstoppable Streak of Success to the Stage, Closing Out the ‘Last Lap’ Tour with a Memorable Florida Finale.
December 18th, 2024
Rod Wave’s Last Lap tour was straight fire, and the final show at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, was everything a fan could’ve hoped for. The lineup was crazy—Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior, and they all brought their A-game.
The night started with Dess Dior, and she hyped up the crowd big time. She was vibing with the audience, and her energy got everyone out of their seats. Lil Poppa came out next and killed it. He’s got this smooth vibe, and his lyrics hit hard, especially when he performed songs from his Under Investigation 3 project.
Then Toosii showed up and owned the stage. He’s got this way of making the whole crowd feel like they’re part of the show, and he even went into the audience! Everyone was screaming the words to “Favorite Song” like it was their anthem.

But when Moneybagg Yo hit the stage? Man, the place went wild. He had so much confidence, like he knew he was the guy. He performed bangers like “Wockesha” and “Time Today,” and it felt like a party. Dude just knows how to keep the energy up.

Finally, Rod Wave came out, and it was a whole different level. His voice live is insane, and you can feel every word he sings. He did a mix of his classics like “Heart on Ice” and tracks from his new album Nostalgia. Fun fact: Rod’s last three albums all hit #1 on the Billboard 200, and Nostalgia just debuted at #2. He’s out here breaking records like it’s nothing.

Rod kept the vibe chill but powerful, connecting with the crowd like he was talking to friends. He even brought some of his crew on stage to celebrate the end of the tour, which made it feel extra special. As the final notes hit and the lights came up, you could tell everyone there felt like they’d been part of something huge.
Even if this was the last time Rod Wave tours South Florida for a while, he made sure it ended on a high note that fans will remember forever.
