In a finale that balanced legacy with momentum, Los Angeles Golf Club didn’t just win, they controlled the moment. A 2-0 series sweep over Jupiter Links Golf Club secured the inaugural TGL Championship, with LA flipping the match and never letting go.

The return of Tiger Woods after 614 days brought the buzz, but the execution belonged to Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, and Sahith Theegala. Opposite them, Max Homa and Tom Kim helped Jupiter set an early tone, but couldn’t sustain it.

On Hole 1 (Flex Hole), with the volcano-lit backdrop setting the scene, Tiger Woods nearly stole the opening point before Justin Rose answered with a clutch putt to keep things square. Hole 2 (Caverns) gave Jupiter the first edge after Sahith Theegala’s putt spun out, and they leaned into it on Hole 3 when Tom Kim buried a 13-footer to keep the pressure firmly on LA.

By the time the match reached Hole 10 (The Spear), it felt inevitable. With the hammer in play and the championship hanging in the balance, Justin Rose delivered a defining sequence. A 338-yard drive split the fairway, followed by an approach that settled within four feet. When Max Homa’s birdie attempt slid past the edge, LA slammed the door shut.
