The Devil Wears Prada Deliver A Hell of a Show to the Frenzied Crowds of South Florida – Photos and Review of the The Devil Wears Prada Concert at Revolution Live in Ft Lauderdale, FL

Ft Lauderdale was buzzing with excitement last night as legions of metalcore fans from all over the state gathered for a high-octane show at the Revolution Live. Known for their dynamic and intense performances, The Devil Wears Prada once again took the South Florida stage for a night of crushing riffs, crowd energy, and memorable moments. Supported by a stellar lineup of up-and-coming acts Greyhaven, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Like Moths to Flames, and Silent Planet, the night promised to be one to remember for Florida’s metal fans.

Greyhaven opened things off with raw energy, and their blend of hardcore and alternative metal packed a powerful punch. With gritty lyrics and visceral guitar work, they were an ideal start to the night, drawing the early crowd into the moshpit and setting the intensity for what was to come. Frontman Brent Mills commanded the stage, urging the audience to let loose, and they responded with enthusiastic moshing and cheers.

Following Greyhaven, SeeYouSpaceCowboy continued the energetic sonic assault with their unique take on chaotic hardcore. Known for their genre-blending mathcore-esque style, the band began a set that was both abrasive and eclectic as they broke into their first song “Disdain Coupled With A Wide Smile“. Vocalist Connie Sgarbossa’s captivating stage presence had fans locked in and ready for more as their chaotic songs drove the crowd wild. Their frenetic pace and breakdowns ignited a wave after wave of mosh pits, leaving no one standing still as they finished up their time on stage with “Chewing the Scenery“.

Like Moths to Flames were up next, and they amped up the momentum with their melodic metalcore and driving the crowd into a frenzy once again. With fan favorites like “Nowhere Left to Sink” and “Over The Garden Wall”, the band led the audience in powerful sing-alongs and cathartic screams as they smashed their way through their setlist. Their performance was polished and impassioned, and lead vocalist Chris Roetter’s powerful, emotive vocals hit hard as the crushing guitars delivered riff after riff. By the time they finished up their time on stage with their last song “Bury Your Pain“, the crowd was drenched in sweat and ready for more.

As Silent Planet took the stage, their atmospheric and thoughtful approach to metalcore added a powerful, almost cinematic layer to the night. Opening with “Offworlder” and mainly displaying their new album “Superbloom” while still diving into fan-favorites like “Panic Room”,  Silent Planet’s set was immersive, blending deep lyricism with explosive instrumentals. Vocalist Garrett Russell expertly delivered emotionally-charged lyrics during the songs, resonating with the audience on a deeper level and further intensifying the experience.

Finally, smoke began to pour onto the stage as The Devil Wears Prada took the stage and the crowd erupted in excitement. The band opened with fan favorite “Mammoth”, and their set was a well-balanced journey that not only highlighted their latest album “Color Decay“, but also spanned hits their extensive discography over the past 20 years. From early hits like “Danger: Wildman” to recent crowd-pleasers like “Watchtower”, The Devil Wears Prada kept the energy relentlessly pumping throughout the venue. Vocalist Mike Hranica’s screams were intense and raw, blending perfectly with Jeremy DePoyster’s clean, melodic choruses and crushing guitar riffs. The band’s iconic stage presence kept fans engaged through the night, as Hranica prowled the stage and engaged with the crowd, while DePoyster and the rest of the band created a wall of sound that filled every inch of the venue. Blasting through more old-school hits like “Dez Moines” and “Born to Lose“, the band gave the crowd everything they had and the crowd gave it right back as they moshed and danced in a frenzy. Finishing up their time on stage with an encore of “Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over” and “Hey John, What’s Your Name Again“, the band’s dynamic range and dedication to their fans was unmatchable, with Hranica and DePoyster feeding off the crowd’s energy throughout the show. As the final notes of the night echoed through Revolution Live, The Devil Wears Prada and their stellar opening acts left the Ft Lauderdale crowd exhilarated and ready for the next time the boys come to town.
