Kevin Nealon Takes Center Stage at Kravis Center!

West Palm Beach Laughter Epidemic Caused by Kevin Nealon and Lisa Corrao’s Comedy Invasion!

January 20th, 2024

Had an absolute blast at the comedy show featuring the legendary Kevin Nealon and our very own South Floridian humor powerhouse, Lisa Corrao.

Lisa, who had the daunting task of warming up the crowd for the Saturday Night Live icon, not only held her own but had the audience in stitches. Picture this: a room filled with people who may have been around when the internet was just a twinkle in Al Gore’s eye. Lisa fearlessly dived into hilarious tales of divorce, embracing the au naturel look (no makeup, no problem!), and professing her undying love for food—something she takes to a whole new level on her YouTube channel, Lisa Loves Food. Did I mention she’s a former 6th-grade teacher? Talk about a career pivot!

Then, in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it transition, Kevin Nealon casually strolled onto the stage, ready to keep the laughter flowing with his trademark dry humor. Sharing side-splitting stories from his SNL days, navigating the world of celebrities, and the pre-fame era, Nealon had the audience hooked. His misdirection in some jokes was pure comedic genius, making it feel like we were chilling with a seriously funny friend at a laid-back house party. However, the banter with the crowd was also on point, with the former actor from the sitcom Weeds effortlessly playing off their suggestions. And, even though he claims not to be an impressionist, he couldn’t resist treating us to some spot-on SNL impressions of pals Adam Sandler and the late, great Norm Macdonald.

Just a great night of laughs.
