Haha No Hi! Mother’s Day at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens (Delray Beach).

Haha no hi (Japanese for Mother’s Day) dining at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach has never tasted so refined.

The museum’s open-air Pan-Asian restaurant, Cornell Café, overlooking a serene lake and lush gardens, will feature a tender, slow-roasted duck ($29) glazed with a citrus-orange sauce and served with fluffy cilantro-infused rice and a vibrant vegetable medley. Feeling cheersy? Toast the occasion with a refreshing yuzu mimosa ($10) and finish on a sweet note with pancake bites ($8) filled with silky vanilla custard.

Take your haha (“mom” in Japanese) on a culinary journey to the Land of the Rising Sun via the Cornell Café.
