Island H2O Water Park: Clean, Affordable & Family-Friendly Fun

Published

on

Island H2O Water Park in Kissimmee is clean, affordable, family-friendly fun with thrilling slides, lazy river and live DJ vibes.

 March 20th, 2026

Florida is dominated by year-round warm, beautiful weather, good vibes, and, of course, water parks. Every water park, though, is quite different and finding the best one for your family can be both trying and difficult. Some are top notch, but the prices are so high and they’re so overly crowded that your experience becomes negative from the get-go. Others are cheap, but run down, out-of-date, and dirty.

The Island H2O in Kissimmee is the perfect, balanced water park with affordable prices, a great array of add-ons, new state-of-the-art slides, busy but not crowded, and it’s one of the cleanest parks that I have reviewed. Smoking and vaping are restricted to far off corners, the bathrooms were immaculately clean, and there was no trash on the ground.

When you enter Island H2O, you notice how well spaced out each area is, creating constant movement and way less crowded places. Throughout all of them, like the central vein of the park itself, is their Chat Creek Lazy River, which winds its way throughout the landscape amongst some gorgeous waterfall features.

Being such a great family-friendly water park, Island H2O has not one, but two stellar areas for kids and toddlers. The first section is Candy Stripe Cove, which has a picturesque waterfall, fun and safe slides into shallow water and a water play area for toddlers. This was good, but their second location, Pelican’s Paradise, was spectacular. It is a huge multi-level playground with different types of slides, squirting features everywhere, and at its centerpiece, the quintessential large dumping bucket.

The bigger kids and adults are hardly left out of Island H2O. We started with their large family fitting rafting slides. One in particular made your stomach go into your throat, but in a good way. It was the big green monster called Hashtag Heights. The last drop on this slide brought you high up another huge wall practically straight up. You were quite safe but the exhilarating feeling of being held weightless made you hold the raft’s handles with all of your might.

The speed and feeling of being weightless, meaning thoughts of flying off of the slide and into space, really came into its own on their star water-coaster Follow Me Falls. This heart-pounding slide hits you from the get-go and never lets go. This is accomplished by powerful water jets, so even when going back up hill, you don’t lose speed. This is a true shot of adrenaline.

Another fun thrill slide was their Reply Racers. On this slide, you lay on a mat face first and zoom down as you race your friends and family in each lane. Mine chickened out, so I ended up racing myself. But hey, a win is a win. On a side note, their two biggest adrenaline slides, the straight plummeting Drop Down and the 360 degree looping Live Streaming were closed for maintenance, but hopefully will be back open again soon.

If Island H2O just had all of this, then there would still be cause to go, but they brought South Beach (family style of course) to the water park. Two words will take your water park experience to the next level: Live! Lagoon.

Yes, in front of their giant wave pool is a Dj booth with a Live! Dj pumping out the best (clean versions) of danceable chart-topping tunes.

Also, he had a bevy of kids games like a hula hoop contest and an ongoing foam party. That’s right, you could dance away in the foam, and then wash off in their customized waves. It’s literally a family-friendly club in front of a giant pool with tubes and waves. C’mon, they killed it!

Now, just as clubs have their roped off VIP sections, here they have private cabanas to completely heighten your time there. The standard cabanas have your own shaded area with a fan, tables and chairs, a refrigerator filled with bottles of water, towels, and your very own personal attendant there to bring you anything that you might need. Their frozen Mango & Strawberry drink was legendary.

If you’re in Central Florida and want to cool off or have family fun like nowhere else, then definitely check out Island H2O Water Park. They are now also offering Island Nights, where the “club” feel really comes to life. For more information please click on the link https://islandh2owaterpark.com.

Balloon Museum Floats Into Miami With Pop Air: Art is Inflatable

Published

The wildly immersive exhibition brings glowing sculptures, larger-than-life installations, and playful wonder to Mana Wynwood.

May 18, 2026

The internationally celebrated Balloon Museum has officially made its Miami debut with Pop Air: Art is Inflatable, a bright, bold, and wildly imaginative exhibition now open at Mana Wynwood Convention Center. This immersive art experience brings together giant inflatable installations, glowing sculptures, digital environments, and interactive works that turn a museum visit into a full-on adventure.

From the moment guests step inside, Pop Air Miami feels like a dreamy playground for the senses. It is colorful, surprising, and wonderfully larger than life, with each room inviting visitors to walk, wander, look up, move closer, and fully experience the artwork around them. This is not the kind of exhibit where you stand quietly in the corner and nod thoughtfully. This is art you feel, explore, and definitely photograph.

Opening night offered a special VIP after-hours experience with drinks, a private tour, and a closer look at the creative vision behind the exhibition. The result was a night that felt playful, polished, and very Miami, with guests moving through glowing worlds and oversized installations that made every turn feel like a new discovery.

Among the standout pieces is Hypercosmo, an immersive light-and-sound environment that surrounds guests in a futuristic, otherworldly atmosphere. Another must-see moment is Mariposa, a glowing 26-foot butterfly powered by more than 39,000 LEDs. It is dramatic, beautiful, and exactly the kind of dazzling centerpiece that makes people stop mid-conversation and reach for their phones.

What makes Balloon Museum Miami especially fun is how easy it is to enjoy for almost anyone. Kids will love the scale, color, and playful energy. Adults will appreciate the design, creativity, and international artistry. Content creators will have plenty to capture. Families, couples, friends, and art lovers can all find something to love inside this inflatable world.

The exhibition fits perfectly in Wynwood, a neighborhood already known for murals, creativity, and immersive experiences. But Pop Air: Art is Inflatable brings something different to Miami’s art scene. It is soft and spectacular, lighthearted and impressive, and filled with moments that make you feel like you have wandered into a world where imagination took up all the space.

Whether you are planning a family outing in Miami, looking for a fun Wynwood date night, searching for things to do in Miami this weekend, or just want a new immersive art experience to add to your list, Balloon Museum Miami is an easy yes.
