ONE Music Fest 2024 Shines in Atlanta’s Central Park

The Heartbeat of Atlanta: ONE Music Fest 2024’s Golden Anniversary Celebrates Culture, Music and Civic Engagement with 50,000 strong.

October 26th – 27th, 2024

As an Atlanta native, I’ve witnessed ONE Music Fest evolve into a cultural cornerstone over the past decade. This year’s 15th anniversary was an extraordinary celebration that solidified its place in the city’s heart. Held at the iconic Central Park, the festival attracted over 50,000 music lovers from across the nation.

The festival grounds were transformed into a vibrant hub of music, art, and community. The P&G and Sprite stages hosted a diverse lineup of performers, catering to a wide range of musical tastes. From seasoned legends to rising stars, the stage was set for an unforgettable weekend.

One of the festival’s highlights was the historic performance by Earth, Wind & Fire. Their timeless music and energetic stage presence captivated the crowd, transporting us back to a golden era of soul and funk. Gunna brought his signature style “juug music” to the stage, turning up the crowd with his high-energy performance. Jill Scott’s soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics resonated with the audience, creating a magical atmosphere as she always does.

Victoria Monét’s stunning vocals and captivating stage presence left a lasting impression. GloRilla’s raw energy and powerful delivery electrified the crowd as she repped for Memphis, while Keyshia Cole’s soulful ballads and powerful vocals brought the house down. Fantasia’s powerful voice and dynamic stage presence mesmerized the audience, and Nelly’s nostalgic hits had everyone singing along hit after hit, while bridging out Big Gipp from the legendary Goodie Mob.

Other artists who graced the stage included Ari Lennox, DaBaby, Method Man and Redman, Dru Hill, Latto and Plies. Each artist brought their own unique energy to the festival, contributing to a dynamic weekend of music and celebration.

The festival also included conversations around civic engagement, with Georgia’s public advocates, Senator Raphael Warnock and Mayor Andre Dickens, encouraging the crowd to vote. The event showcased the power of music to inspire and unite, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

While we were disappointed that Sexyy Red and Cardi B couldn’t make it, the overall experience was exceptional. ONE Music Fest continues to raise the bar each year, providing a platform for both established and emerging artists. It’s a testament to the festival’s commitment to quality, diversity, and community.

As an Atlanta native, I’m incredibly proud to call this city home. ONE Music Fest has become a beloved tradition, bringing people together from all walks of life. It’s truly amazing to meet people from different states and countries who share a passion for music and culture.

ONE Music Fest 2024 was a resounding success, and I can’t wait to see what the organizers have in store for us next year.
