Despite Hijikata’s efforts, Fritz maintained pressure, pushing to deuce on the Australian’s serve. Hijikata showcased skill with a well-executed drop shot and a winner to hold serve. However, Fritz sustained his concentration and pressure, holding his serves until the end of the match.
