LEGO NINJAGO Weekends Are Kickin’

Christmas and Halloween Set the Standard at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, and NINJAGO Weekends Are Now Right There with Them.

January 17th, 2026

This event, which hits weekends from December 31st to February 15th is based on the popular martial arts themed line that LEGO started out well over a decade ago. Ninjago really took flight, however, when its TV program began in 2011. Then, with its full-length movies, toys galore and the awesome NINJAGO ride at Legoland, its popularity went through the roof.

All over the park, children (and adults) dressed up and strapped on the gear of their favorite NINJAGO characters, but of course the Green Ninja, Lloyd, was seen the most. NINJAGO Weekends has a really cool way of making the most of your child’s day called ‘Path of the Ninja.’ All over Legoland are themed activities for everyone to take part in and collect stickers for a special prize.

On weekends, guests can enjoy a lively dance party featuring some of the park’s characters, with additional characters available for photos throughout the day. Everything builds toward the end-of-day celebration, the Ceremony of the Ninja, where all the characters come together. The stage area fills up quickly, so arriving early is recommended.

Legoland also features two new special additions for their NINJAGO Weekends. One is taking their infamous Granny’s Apple Fries to another level by adding to it Matcha ice cream, toasted coconut, mini mochi, with green sprinkles. This treat melts fast, but thankfully, it tastes so good that we finished it before it did. The other themed food was their Balanced Bao Bun. These soft bao buns were filled with tempura chicken, topped with some fresh veggies and a spicy Mayo that gave you a delightful hit of heat. What really made it over the top great was the Japanese BBQ sauce drizzled over the chicken. It was so tasty that no napkins were needed.

Everything was solid, but the standout at LEGO NINJAGO Weekends was Lloyd’s Elemental Challenge Show. The high-energy performance blends fast-paced martial arts and showcases multiple disciplines in an action-packed setting. We sat in the splash zone and definitely got soaked, but it was part of the fun. This show alone is worth the price of admission.

LEGO NINJAGO Weekends feels like a natural extension of what LEGOLAND Florida Resort already does best. Between the interactive activities, character moments, themed food, and standout entertainment, it delivers a full-day experience that keeps the energy high from start to finish. Whether your kids are longtime NINJAGO fans or just jumping into the world for the first time, this event adds something special to a park visit and gives families another reason to put LEGOLAND weekends on the calendar.
