Roots, Rhythm and the Waterfront: Reggae Rise Up Florida Festival Returns

Published

As Vinoy Park Becomes Ground Zero for Reggae Culture, Reggae Rise Up Florida Festival Welcomes Over 15,000 Fans Per Day for Four Days of Pure Energy.

January 22nd, 2026

Reggae Rise Up Florida Festival has firmly cemented itself as one of the largest and most recognizable reggae festivals in the country, and in 2026, it’s once again set to take over Vinoy Park in the heart of St. Petersburg from March 12–15. What makes this festival special isn’t just the music, it’s the setting. With Tampa Bay stretching out beside the stages and downtown St. Pete buzzing just steps away, Reggae Rise Up Florida strikes the perfect balance between laid-back coastal culture and urban energy.

Year after year, the festival continues to raise the bar, bringing together massive crowds, world-class production and a lineup that reads like a greatest-hits playlist for reggae, reggae-rock and hip-hop fans. The 2026 edition is anchored by powerhouse headliners Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, Sublime, 311, Iration, SOJA, Cypress Hill and De La Soul, with additional heavyweights including Common Kings, The Expendables, Pepper, Tribal Seeds, Steel Pulse, Skip Marley, Protoje, Yelawolf, G. Love & Special Sauce, Ballyhoo!, Kash’d Out, Passafire, Shwayze, Satsang, The Hip Abduction, Roots of Creation and many more filling out four days of nonstop music across multiple stages.

Beyond the performances, Reggae Rise Up Florida delivers a full-scale festival experience. Attendees can expect multiple stages with top-tier sound and lighting, interactive activities, large-scale art installations, and over one hundred craft and food vendors serving everything from festival favorites to local flavors. Dozens of beverage stations, wide open lawn space to kick back and relax, and a welcoming all-ages atmosphere help create an environment that feels just as much like a community gathering as it does a major music event. With more than 15,000 fans per day, the energy is constant from gates open to final notes.

As one of America’s fastest-growing cities and arguably one of the strongest reggae markets in the country, St. Petersburg provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend-long celebration. From nearby hotels and waterfront dining to breweries, beaches and nightlife, festivalgoers have no shortage of options before and after the music. It’s this combination of location, culture and consistently elite lineups that keeps Reggae Rise Up Florida at the top of the reggae festival circuit, delivering positive vibes and unforgettable moments year after year.

Tickets and VIP options are on sale now, and with a lineup this stacked, Reggae Rise Up Florida Festival 2026 is shaping up to be another must-attend weekend on the Florida festival calendar.
