A Night of Heart and Harmony with The Lumineers and Chance Peña in South Florida
The Lumineers and Chance Peña turned an ordinary night into a musical journey, blending intimate lyrics, soaring sing-alongs and unforgettable energy.
October 7th, 2025
Chance Peña kicked off the night and immediately grabbed the audience’s attention. The young singer, known from The Voice, blended heartfelt lyrics with an Americana sound that felt genuine and warm. Even those who hadn’t heard his music before were drawn in, and by the end of his set, Peña had won over new fans, myself included. His latest album, When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It, is worth diving into as he continues to refine his craft.

Once The Lumineers took the stage, the energy in the room shifted into overdrive. The set moved effortlessly from tender moments to crowd-fueled sing-alongs. “Flowers in Your Hair” and “Angela” offered intimacy while songs like “Ho Hey” and “Ophelia” had the audience clapping, singing, and shouting along with every word. “Sleep on the Floor” ignited excitement as the lyrics about leaving everything behind and starting anew resonated with fans, sparking a sense of urgency and connection that electrified the crowd.

Wesley Schultz brought the performance closer to the audience, walking through the crowd and creating an up-close, shared experience that made the night feel personal. Hits like “Charlie Boy,” “Plasticine,” and “Big Parade” mingled with deeper cuts and a spirited cover of Justin Bieber’s “Ghost” featuring Josiah and the Bonnevilles, keeping the momentum high. The crowd matched the band note for note, creating waves of harmony, clapping, and energy that carried through the entire performance.

Since breaking onto the charts in 2012, The Lumineers have mastered the ability to turn songs into shared experiences. Their South Florida stop delivered heart, energy, and unmistakable good vibes. Fans left singing, smiling, and already planning their next chance to see the band live.
