Transitioning from baseball to Jai-Alai presented its challenges, but Matt’s background in sports, particularly baseball, proved advantageous. “I think it’s definitely the hand-eye coordination,” he explained. “Baseball players seem to catch on to it pretty quickly.”

When asked about the possibility of Jai-Alai players transitioning to baseball, Matt expressed skepticism. “It would be a hard switch for a lot of these guys,” he admitted. “Throwing with the basket is so different than any other sport that people grew up with.”
