Feeding South Florida to Host Hollywood 13th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K on April 6.

Feeding South Florida®, the preeminent hunger-relief organization in the region, is proud to announce the eagerly anticipated 13th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Charnow Beachfront Park in Hollywood. Scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2024, this event promises to unite runners, walkers, families, and community leaders of all ages in a collective effort to combat hunger across South Florida.

Despite the area’s natural beauty, over 1.2 million individuals in South Florida currently face food insecurity, with 1 in 9 unsure of their next meal. The Outrun Hunger 5K aims to raise both funds and awareness to tackle this pressing issue head-on.

Participants can register as individuals or teams, and even those not taking part in the race directly can contribute by creating personalized fundraising pages. Registration is now open for all four counties served by Feeding South Florida: Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe.
