Legendary Metal Band Disturbed Brings An Incredible Fiery Spectacle to South Florida – Photos and Review of the Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Jinjer Concert at the iThink Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, FL

West Palm Beach was charged with electrifying energy this past Thursday in anticipation of the Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed concert at the iThink Financial Amphitheater, which promised an unforgettable experience for fans of rock and metal. Two of the biggest bands in heavy music touring together is already a rare experience, and with the added excitement of Ukrainian extreme metal band Jinjer as the opening act, the stage was set for an explosive night of music.

Jinjer took the stage first, and from the moment they started playing, it was clear that the audience was in for something special. Known for their technical prowess and ferocious stage presence, Jinjer delivered a high-octane performance that left the crowd in awe. Frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk’s powerful vocals and growls showcased her versatility as a vocalist, and the band’s instrumental skill was equally impressive. The band mostly played songs from their most recent album Wallflowers along with some older tracks like “Perennial” and “I Speak Astronomy“, which successfully hyped up the crowd for the main acts.

After the adrenaline-pumping set by Jinjer, the anticipation for Breaking Benjamin reached its peak and as the lights dimmed, the crowd erupted into cheers as the band emerged on stage. From the opening chords to the final note, Breaking Benjamin’s performance was nothing short of phenomenal. Lead vocalist Benjamin Burnley’s emotive voice resonated throughout the amphitheater, captivating the audience with their signature blend of hard rock and post-grunge sound. Hits like “Polyamorous“, “Breath“, and “So Cold” had the entire crowd singing along, creating an electrifying atmosphere that united fans of all ages. Breaking Benjamin finished up their time on stage with their most popular song “The Diary of Jane“, and the band disappeared into the shadows as fans screamed for more.

Not to be outdone, Disturbed took the stage with a grand entrance and energy levels off the charts. Frontman David Draiman’s powerful and distinctive vocals were nothing short of breathtaking, leading the audience through an intense and emotional journey. The band showcased their musicianship, precision, and passion, performing a mix of old favorites like “Stupify” and “Ten Thousand Fists” intermixed with tracks from their latest album Divisive, which were met with equal enthusiasm from the crowd. Standout moments included their iconic cover of “The Sound of Silence“, which left the entire amphitheater in awe, as well as the high-octane performances of hits “Indestructible” and “Stricken“.

The production value of the concert was top-notch, with mesmerizing light shows, stunning visuals, and intense pyrotechnics that elevated the entire experience. The sound quality was impressive, allowing each band’s unique sound to shine through and creating an immersive experience for the audience. And speaking of audience, one of the most incredible moments of the night was when David came down into the crowd to speak with a young fan and invite them up onto the stage, before spending some time speaking to the crowd on the importance of community. Disturbed finished their epic set with a one two punch of amazing old school hits “Down With the Sickness” and “Inside the Fire“, which ratcheted the pyrotechnics to a whole new level.

The Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed concert was an exhilarating night of rock and metal music at its finest. Jinjer’s dynamic opening act set the tone for the evening, while Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed both delivered exceptional performances that will undoubtedly be etched in the memories of their fans for years to come. The combination of powerful vocals, impressive instrumentals, and an electric atmosphere made this concert an unforgettable experience for all attendees, leaving everyone longing for more.
