Post Malone and Jelly Roll Get Real in Miami

Heartfelt Stories and Powerful Songs Define Jelly Roll and Post Malone’s Night in Miami.
June 8th, 2025
In a time when many stadium tours are heavy on spectacle and light on soul, Jelly Roll and Post Malone, delivered both in full force Sunday night at Dolphins Stadium. The “Big Ass Stadium Tour” stop in Miami showcased the chart-toppers in a raw, emotional and often unexpectedly tender night. Both artists wore their gratitude on their sleeves and left everything on stage.
Jelly Roll kicked things off with a sermon in song: anthemic, gritty and deeply human. His blend of Southern rock, country and hip-hop had the crowd out of their seats within the first few notes of “Halfway to Hell.” But, it was when he slowed down and leaned into “Save Me” that the energy shifted. A hush fell across the stadium as he poured every ounce of pain and redemption into the mic. It was easily one of the most powerful moments of the night, a reminder that beyond the entertainment, Jelly Roll was here to heal.

Between songs, his candor shined. He spoke openly about addiction, second chances and the surreal joy of playing his first tour in stadiums full of fans who once might’ve counted him out. “Y’all don’t even know what this means to me,” he said, visibly emotional. “To go from a jail cell to this stage… I’m living proof that God can do anything.”
When Post Malone took over, the stadium transformed into a neon dreamscape. Dressed down and ever approachable, he launched into “Wow” with his signature raspy charm. The hits kept coming: “Circles,” “Better Now,” “Psycho,” each one met with a roaring singalong from the crowd.

However, beyond the bangers, Post’s humility grounded the performance. After nearly every song, he thanked the crowd, sometimes multiple times and with a sincerity that never felt rehearsed. “Thank you guys so much for letting me do this,” he said. “It means the world. I love you more than you know.”
The night built toward a thunderous finale with “What Don’t Belong to Me,” a closer that had the entire stadium on its feet. Fireworks exploded above as Post stood center stage, arms wide, soaking in the moment with misty eyes. No “Sunflower” here—this show ended not with a whisper, but with a victorious roar.
This was my first time seeing both artists. What set this show apart for me wasn’t just the music, it was the authenticity. Both Jelly Roll and Post Malone gave the audience more than a performance, they gave themselves. There was no pretense, no ego, just two men grateful for the stages they’re standing on and the people who helped them get there.
Their humility was palpable. Their gratitude was contagious. And the result was a night that felt less like a stadium tour and more like a family reunion, loud, loving and unforgettable.
While the music hit hard, their honesty hit harder. And in a world full of filters, it was a beautiful thing to see two stars so unfiltered and so real.
