Tropic Ocean Airways, the world’s largest commercial amphibious airline, is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural Tropics & Taste Culinary Weekend in collaboration with Elbow Reef. This exclusive culinary event, set to take place from October 17 to October 20, promises an unforgettable experience for food enthusiasts and travel aficionados alike.

Guests will enjoy charter flights to and from Palm Beach International (PBI) with Tropic Ocean Airways, benefiting from a 30-minute international check-in time and access to a private lounge for a seamless VIP travel experience. Accommodations include a private en suite at Elbow Reef for two, providing a luxurious and intimate setting.

Daily breakfasts will be crafted by Chef John Mike, the winner of the first season of “Chef de Bois,” who triumphed in a woodfire competition featuring 18 days in the woods against 10 of Canada’s top chefs. The weekend will feature three exclusive culinary events:

On October 17, guests will indulge in an Interactive 5 Course Tasting Experience, featuring Bahamian cuisine with a twist and craft cocktail pairings by Chef John Mike. On October 18, the Woodfire Masterclass by the Beach will offer a beachfront BBQ at sundown, where fresh fish and lobster will be cooked over live fire pits and served family-style with live acoustic music from local musicians.

On October 19, the Boozy Brunch will present local delicacies paired with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys, accompanied by live tunes from a local DJ followed by a lively pool party. The weekend will conclude with a private sunset catamaran cruise, offering breathtaking views and a serene end to the culinary adventure.
