Fall Nights Made Better with Food, Drinks and Ambiance

Wine Not? A Great Night Out of Bites, Brews and Sweet Surprises at History on the Rocks.

November 15th, 2024

The sixth annual History on the Rocks, held at Yesteryear Village, delivered a pleasurable evening that perfectly paired South Florida’s ideal fall weather with a welcoming night out of food and drinks. The crisp air and beautifully illuminated grounds created a serene yet dynamic backdrop for attendees.

Guests were spoiled as they divulged in an abundance of culinary delights. A personal favorite was the return of the firemen’s chili paired with Fireball shots, but close behind was a refreshing mojito stand and a Mac & Cheese bar. That said, Homegrown Meat Co.’s perfectly smoked sausage was no slouch. Shrimp, pizza, baked sweets, and apple cider donuts also added depth to the menu, while a wine-tasting area, craft whiskey and rum offerings, plus expertly brewed coffee provided beverage options to suit every palate.

The vibe was peaceful as guests moved between vendors, discovering local treasures and sampling delicious bites. The MarketPlace, brimming with artisan goods, created a lively space to browse and connect with creators. Live music floated through the air, enhancing the ambiance without overpowering the intimate feel of the evening.

It was an event that celebrated indulgence and community, offering moments of joy in every corner, whether through a sip of wine, a pastry bite, or the ideal backdrop for creating lasting memories.
