SAVOR SoFLO Festival is a Culinary Extravaganza on Hollywood Beach
From Oceanfront Tastings to Interactive Culinary Showdowns: SAVOR SoFLO Festival Transforms Hollywood Beach into a Culinary Wonderland, Showcasing the Best of South Florida’s Cuisine, Libations and Sustainable Practices!
April 7th, 2024
The fourth annual SAVOR SoFLO Festival returned to Hollywood Beach on April 6-7, presented by Publix and the City of Hollywood, was a beachside culinary event that delighted all with tantalizing food and drinks, lively music and cooking demonstrations.
Set against the amazing backdrop of Hollywood Beach and located behind the well-known Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, SAVOR SoFLO provided an unmatched culinary experience. The festival, which took up over 25,000 square feet of beachfront space and featured two grand tents, celebrated the best of South Florida’s culinary and hospitality worlds.
Guests were treated to tastings from a variety of chefs, restaurants, wines, brewers and spirits companies. The festival’s highlight was the interactive culinary demos on the San Pellegrino culinary Stage and the Charcuterie Extravaganza at the Publix, Boars Head, and Josh Wines tasting pavilions, added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Food Network champions Chef Rosana Rivera and Chef Ricardo Castro (The Chef & The Baker) further elevated the gastronomic experience.
The festival had some well-known brands such as Boar’s Head, Bobo’s, Patron, Jolly Time, San Pellegrino, Bacardi and Hennessy and brands that are worth mentioning such as Goodles, Proud Source Spring Water, Ghost Tequila, Grey Whale Gin, Uncle Nearest, Redemption Rye Whiskey, Pulpoloco Sangria North Italia, Diplomat Prime, and C.L.A.S.S.Soirée Steakhouse.
SAVOR SoFLO not only delighted food enthusiasts, wine connoisseurs and craft beer lovers, but also contributed to a noble cause. A portion of the proceeds benefited local South Florida breast cancer patients through the Glam-A-THON breast cancer charity.
In alignment with the City of Hollywood’s sustainability efforts, the festival and all participating vendors utilized compostable or biodegradable materials to reduce environmental impact, keeping Hollywood Beach clean. Proud Source water, packaged in recyclable aluminum cans, was served throughout the weekend, further emphasizing the commitment to sustainability.
For those who missed this year’s festivities, SAVOR SoFLO teased the launch of a third festival in 2025, promising even more culinary delights to come. Follow SAVOR SoFLO on Instagram @savorsoflo for the latest updates and exciting news about future events.
