Inside Tartuflanghe Loft, Where Italian Truffle Heritage Meets Wynwood Creativity

An Unexpected Door in Wynwood Opens to Tartuflanghe Loft, Where Michelin Level Craftsmanship and Italian Heritage Shape an Unforgettable Evening.

February 26th, 2026

If you were walking down the long, narrow, modern hallway at 250 NW 23rd St, you might assume you had wandered into just another apartment or creative workspace tucked inside Wynwood. But for those lucky enough to step through the doors of the Tartuflanghe Loft, the industrial exterior gives way to an intimate, high design sanctuary where the air itself feels infused with Italian elegance.

The journey began long before the first course arrived. Driving down from West Palm Beach, the scenery gradually shifted from familiar coastline calm into Miami’s electric pulse, eventually opening into a private culinary world where history and modern gastronomy meet with quiet confidence. This was not simply dinner. It felt like stepping inside a living archive of flavor and innovation.

On this particular evening, we were welcomed by Paolo Montanaro, food technologist and CEO whose family founded the Alba White Truffle Company in 1975, alongside Chef Giuseppe Iannotti, whose thoughtful guidance turned the night into a journey through decades of culinary evolution rooted in Italian tradition.

The evening’s menu was described as “small bites,” though the phrase barely hinted at what unfolded. Across eight carefully paced courses, those bites evolved into a deeply satisfying feast, each dish reflecting Tartuflanghe’s balance of heritage and imagination.

The Fassona Royale set the tone, elevated by white truffle honey mustard and playful “space capers” that added texture and surprise. The Black Winter Carbonara followed, rich and aromatic, delivering comfort that felt transported directly from Piedmont. Even dessert embraced the ingredient’s versatility. The White Truffle Pannacotta offered delicate elegance, while the Trifulot chocolate pralines closed the evening with decadent precision.

I have to pause here to lovingly call out my wife, Janina Simmonds. As a fellow foodie, she would have absolutely thrived in this setting. She opted out of the hour and forty five minute drive from West Palm Beach, a decision she may now regret. Throughout the evening, I caught myself wishing every course could be boxed up and delivered straight to her doorstep. Janina, if you are reading this, next time we are making the drive.

Wine pairings from the family estate, Azienda Agricola Pedemontis, added another layer of storytelling. Crisp whites refreshed the palate while deeper reds carried warmth and complexity, each glass reinforcing the character of Italy’s Langhe region.

The night was elevated further by the hospitality of Barbara Bosini, whose effortless warmth made an elite culinary event feel personal and relaxed. Conversations flowed naturally, reinforcing that the best dining experiences are built as much on connection as cuisine.

What makes Tartuflanghe Loft unique becomes clearer once you understand its purpose. The space is not simply a restaurant or showroom but a cultural home for Italian truffle tradition in the United States, designed to host tastings, masterclasses, collaborations, and intimate dinners within Wynwood’s creative landscape.

Tartuflanghe’s roots trace back to the hills of Piedmont, Italy, birthplace of the Alba White Truffle and a region where culinary heritage is inseparable from land and history. Since its founding, the family company has focused on preserving tradition while advancing innovation, pioneering preservation techniques that allow truffles to be experienced year round without sacrificing their distinctive aroma or integrity.

Chef Giuseppe Iannotti embodies that same philosophy. Originally trained as an engineer before pursuing cooking, the largely self taught chef refined his craft through global exploration and professional experience, including time at Chicago’s renowned Alinea. As chef of Krèsios in Italy’s Campania region, he has earned Michelin recognition and two Michelin stars, known for cuisine that blends technical precision with emotional storytelling.

Underlying everything is a commitment to sustainability and stewardship. Tartuflanghe operates using renewable energy and maintains a fully traceable truffle supply chain, ensuring that luxury ingredients remain connected to responsible cultivation and environmental care.

By the end of the evening, it became clear that Tartuflanghe Loft is not defined by a single dish or even the rarity of truffle itself. What resonates is how seamlessly every element connects. The drive into Miami’s restless energy, the hidden entrance inside Wynwood’s industrial corridors, the warmth of hosts who welcome guests like family, and decades of heritage carried quietly onto each plate all become part of the same story.

The Montanaro family’s journey from Alba to Miami feels less like expansion and more like continuation. Tradition evolves without losing identity. Innovation respects origin. Technique enhances experience rather than overshadowing it.

Walking back through the hallway at night’s end, the space felt transformed. What first appeared ordinary now held meaning, like stepping out of a hidden chapter tucked behind Wynwood’s murals and late night energy. The aromas lingered. Conversations echoed softly. The experience followed long after the doors closed.

Tartuflanghe Loft offers something Miami rarely slows down long enough to appreciate. It invites guests to pause, to learn, and to taste history while witnessing innovation unfold in real time. It reminds us that great dining is not measured by extravagance alone, but by how deeply it connects people to place, tradition, and one another.

And somewhere between Alba and Wynwood, between forest earth and city light, that connection feels unmistakably alive.

Arc Culinary Where Every Bite Gives Back

This intimate chef-driven tasting experience in Broward blends elevated cuisine, live culinary artistry, and a mission that transforms lives.

June 20th, 2026

Not every memorable night out in South Florida happens at the trendiest Miami hotspot or the newest Fort Lauderdale restaurant. Sometimes, the most unforgettable dining experiences are hidden in places you’d least expect.

Arc Broward’s Arc Culinary is one of those rare gems.

More than just a dinner reservation, Arc Culinary delivers an immersive chef’s table experience where guests enjoy thoughtfully curated multi-course meals while watching talented chefs prepare and present each dish right in front of them. The result feels part fine dining, part live performance, and entirely unforgettable.

With limited seating and rotating themed menus, every event feels exclusive like being invited to an intimate dinner party hosted by some of South Florida’s most passionate culinary talent.

The real magic begins once the first course arrives.

At Arc Culinary, dinner becomes an experience. Instead of dishes quietly appearing from behind kitchen doors, guests get a front-row seat to the craftsmanship behind every plate. Watching the chefs work adds a level of connection and appreciation that transforms the meal into something far more interactive and personal.

For its recent Fresh SoFlo Summer Flavors dinner, Arc Culinary showcased a four-course tasting menu celebrating seasonal Florida ingredients with elevated technique and thoughtful presentation.

The evening began with a refreshing Florida blue crab starter served with avocado, ruby red grapefruit, hearts of palm, and a bright key lime vinaigrette. Light, citrusy, and beautifully balanced, it captured South Florida summer on a plate.

Course two brought a stunning pan-seared Florida snapper, perfectly crisp on the outside and paired with sweet corn purée and blistered cherry tomatoes. The standout element, however, was the sauce. A swap to miso chili oil added layers of umami, subtle spice, and richness that completely elevated the dish. It was one of those bites that makes the entire table pause.

The third course featured a beautifully cooked grilled filet mignon, served with roasted summer peppers, shaved fennel, arugula, and key lime chimichurri. Rich yet balanced, it delivered the kind of bold, satisfying flavor you hope for in a main course.

Dessert ended the evening on a classic South Florida note: a stunning key lime tart that was equal parts creamy, tart, and sweet.

While the food alone makes Arc Culinary worth visiting, what makes the experience truly special lies beyond the plate.

Founded in 1956, Arc Broward has spent nearly seven decades serving individuals with developmental disabilities and life challenges throughout Broward County. The nonprofit supports individuals from ages 1 to 91, offering programs that include education, employment services, behavioral health support, residential programs, and family resources.

Arc Culinary operates as one of Arc Broward’s most innovative social enterprises, using food as both a source of funding and a pathway to opportunity.

Proceeds from dinners, private events, catering, and culinary programming directly support Arc Broward’s life-changing services while also helping create hands-on training and workforce opportunities in hospitality and culinary arts for individuals with special needs.

In other words, this isn’t just dinner.

It’s a chance to support inclusion, independence, and meaningful opportunity—all while enjoying an exceptional meal.

That’s what makes Arc Culinary so special: you come for the chef-driven menu, the intimate atmosphere, and the creative flavors, but you leave with something deeper.

In a region filled with restaurants competing for attention, Arc Culinary offers something increasingly rare a dining experience that feels personal, purposeful, and genuinely impactful.

Because at Arc Culinary, every course tells a story and every bite gives back.
