Take It Easy… and Pass the Prime Rib

You Can Check Out Anytime You Like, But with Solid Food and Even Better Harmonies, You’ll Never Want to Leave the Paddock Room at the Palm Beach Kennel Club.

February 6th, 2026

What a way to take flight into an evening of indulgence at a dinner show hosted by the Paddock Room at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. A delicious meal paired with fantastic live entertainment truly makes for a winning combination, and this night delivered on every level.

The atmosphere immediately felt welcoming and relaxed, setting the stage for a memorable night out. We were wined and dined by the Paddock’s experienced staff, who never missed a beat. Their attentiveness was seamless and genuine, constantly checking in to ensure every need was met without ever feeling intrusive. Service like that elevates the entire experience, and they executed it flawlessly. Kudos all around.

The menu offered tempting choices including pasta, fish, chicken, and prime rib. We opted for the prime rib and the chicken, and both proved to be excellent decisions. The evening began with a seemingly endless supply of warm rolls and a perfectly blended salad that was fresh and satisfying. Then came the main event. The prime rib arrived in an extra large portion, perfectly prepared and beautifully seasoned. It was so generous that I could barely finish it. The chicken was equally impressive, light and tender with just enough seasoning to enhance its natural flavor without overpowering it.

By the time dessert was offered, we were completely satisfied. In fact, we had to take our chocolate cake to go. One bite later, we were grateful we did. It was scrumptious and rich, the kind of dessert that lingers in your memory long after the night ends.

As outstanding as the meal was, the entertainment truly elevated the evening. The Alter Eagles, a tribute band with over 15 years of experience, soared well beyond expectations. Six incredibly talented musicians brought the legendary sound of the Eagles to life with stunning precision and energy. Classics such as “Take It Easy” and “Lyin’ Eyes” filled the room with harmony and nostalgia. Their high energy, stage presence, and flawless vocals captivated the audience from the first note.

The crowd sang along, swayed to the rhythm, smiled, clapped, and seemed genuinely unwilling to let the night come to a close. There was a shared joy in the room that made the experience feel even more special.

There is no need to wait for a special occasion to enjoy an evening like this. It is the perfect way to step away from the everyday and treat yourself to something memorable.

And as a bonus, if you are lucky enough to catch the Alter Eagles, they offer beautifully handcrafted jewelry, some made from guitar picks. The pieces are creative, well crafted, and reasonably priced. I could not resist and ended up purchasing several.

An evening of great food, attentive service, and music that lifts you higher. That is a night well spent.
