Tequila Fest Shakes, Stirs and Sends Mizner Park into Agave Overdrive

Tequila Fest Pours on the Flavor at Mizner Park with Music, Margaritas and Maximum Vibes as Boca Raton Turns into a Toast-Ready Playground of Agave, Energy and Crowd-Shaking Celebration.

November 8th, 2025

Good tunes, good vibes and enough tequila to make your tears or sweat drip with alcoholic jubilation turned Mizner Park Amphitheater into Boca Raton’s most spirited destination as The Tequila Fest returned for a salt-rimmed celebration on Saturday, November 8th. The crowd didn’t just raise a glass, they raised the entire evening, transforming every sip into a reason to dance, laugh and occasionally question whether the floor was moving or it was just the mezcal talking.

The sunset hours kicked off with DJ GQ Worldwide, warming up the amphitheater with a bass line smoother than a top-shelf añejo. Tasty Vibrations followed and lived up to their name, delivering breezy coastal energy that paired perfectly with citrus notes and people swaying like palm trees in a gust of liquid courage. Paul Anthony and the Reggae Souljahs kept the rhythm rich and rooted, filling the space with island warmth while fans floated into that happy zone where music and agave become best friends. By the time The Supervillains took over for the evening’s finale, the crowd was fully marinated, singing, skanking and toasting to life like the night owed them change back.

But Tequila Fest wasn’t just shaking up sound waves. Festivalgoers enjoyed unlimited tastings of more than thirty premium tequilas, mezcals and agave spirits, ranging from clean and crisp neat pours to cocktails that packed just enough punch to make strangers feel like lifelong amigos. The culinary lineup delivered equal satisfaction, with bites from Guac a Go, Wolf of Tacos, Yen’s Kitchen, How Ya Doughn’ and more, proving that tacos and tequila remain the most reliable power couple since chips met salsa.

Laughter spilled over at Line Dancing with Lindsay, where even the rhythm-challenged found themselves boot-scooting with surprising confidence. The Feral Friends Showdown added an artistic twist, as local creators painted live in a friendly battle that grew bolder with every swallow of inspiration. If creativity had a proof level, it certainly climbed throughout the night.

All of the fun supported True Hospitality Community, shining a spotlight on those who keep the service world upright even when everyone else is wobbling. That spirit of gratitude, connection and shared joy carried through the festival like a smooth finish that lingers in the best way.

With lounge zones, swag drops, photo ops and interactive experiences around every turn, the festival delivered a full-bodied experience that felt aged to perfection. Rain or shine, sip or shot, The Tequila Fest once again proved itself an agave-fueled celebration worth savoring.

Tickets and future event info are available at thetequilafest.com, and festival updates can be found on Instagram at @the_tequilafest. Guests are reminded to drink responsibly and arrange alternate transportation, unless they plan to ride home on the lime wedge of destiny, which unfortunately was not available at the exit.

One thing’s certain — if you missed it, you missed out. If you attended, you’re probably still smiling… and maybe still sweating tequila.

Surfside’s Paddletopia 2026 Served Up Sunshine, Sweat, and Veggie-Packed Bites

Veggies Made Great helped fuel a family-friendly weekend of free workouts, paddleboarding, coffee, small bites, and feel-good fun at 96th Street Park.

May 18, 2026

Surfside brought the good vibes this weekend with Paddletopia 2026, a two-day wellness and outdoor lifestyle event that turned 96th Street Park into a sunny little hub for movement, community, and family-friendly fun.

Held on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event welcomed kids, adults, fitness lovers, coffee drinkers, paddleboarders, and anyone looking for a fresh-air weekend by the water. The best part? So many of the experiences were free, making it easy for families and locals to drop in, move around, and enjoy the day without overthinking it.

The workout classes were a highlight, bringing plenty of energy to the park with approachable, upbeat sessions that made wellness feel fun instead of intimidating. Between the fitness classes, paddleboarding, live music, wellness activations, and relaxed outdoor atmosphere, Paddletopia had that perfect South Florida mix of active and easygoing.

Of course, no great weekend event is complete without good bites. Veggies Made Great, an official event partner, kept guests fueled with complimentary samples of their veggie-packed favorites, including the Spinach Egg White Frittata and Lemon Blueberry Muffin. The samples were a smart fit for the day: light, wholesome, tasty, and easy to enjoy between activities. Paired with coffee and other small bites available throughout the event, it made for the kind of simple, satisfying spread that both kids and adults could get behind.

The event also had a thoughtful environmental angle through the “Paddle for Plastic” initiative with Plastic Fisherman, encouraging attendees to help clean Surfside canals in exchange for eco-friendly rewards. It added a meaningful layer to the weekend, blending wellness, community, and environmental care in a way that felt natural for a coastal town like Surfside.

Overall, Paddletopia 2026 felt like exactly what a South Florida weekend should be: outdoorsy, welcoming, active, delicious, and just a little bit sun-kissed. From free fitness classes to better-for-you snacks and community-focused fun, Surfside gave families a reason to get outside and enjoy the best of wellness by the water.
