FLIBS 2025: Highlights, Superyachts and a Glimpse at the Future
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2025 is Off the Hook and On the Radar with Luxury, Adventure and Hands-On Experiences.
October 29th – November 2, 2025
Fort Lauderdale sparkled with horsepower, luxury, and Florida sun as the 66th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show returned from October 29 through November 2. Known as the world’s largest in-water boat show, FLIBS sprawled across seven locations from Superyacht Village at Pier South to Bahia Mar and debuted the newly reimagined Pier Sixty-Six Hotel and Marina. The reopening of Pier Sixty-Six marked the show’s 66th anniversary with a fully occupied marina and vessels that impressed with size, design, and innovation.
Pier Sixty-Six and Superyacht Spectacle
The Pier Sixty-Six Marina offered visitors a front-row seat to some of the world’s most luxurious vessels. Superyacht Village returned in style, with massive yachts, custom tenders, and elegant hospitality. Walking from one vessel to the next felt like stepping into a floating gallery where technology, craftsmanship, and opulence met at every deck.

Windward VIP Experience
This year the Windward VIP Experience expanded to include a second location at Hall of Fame Marina, offering a cabana club with shaded seating, light bites, and uninterrupted views of the water. VIP guests enjoyed premium food and drinks, early access to Superyacht Village, and curated luxury experiences that elevated the show to a whole new level of indulgence.
Family and Community Programming
FLIBS offered plenty for newcomers and families. Seminars focused on women in boating, kids’ fishing clinics, and Boating to the Bahamas sessions at the Broward County Convention Center created interactive experiences that were educational and fun. The Convention Center also served as the hub for shuttles, water taxis, and golf carts that connected all show locations, making it easy to explore the sprawling event.
FLIBS Spotlight: Lightship’s Fully Electric RV

Not everything at FLIBS floats. One of the most talked-about attractions was Lightship’s fully electric RV. Based in Broomfield, Colorado, this 27-foot pop-up vehicle runs entirely on electricity, with solar panels generating 1.8 kilowatts and a 77-kilowatt battery pack powering all systems. A rear-axle propulsion system assists while driving, and charging at an NACS supercharger takes just 48 minutes. Depending on usage, the RV can stay off-grid for five to ten days.

Inside, it feels surprisingly luxurious. The RV has a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. The front area converts into a queen-size bed, while a full bathroom completes the setup. Wraparound windows provide nearly 280 degrees of views, connecting occupants with the outdoors. Lightship is showcasing this RV at events like FLIBS and soon the LA Auto Show, offering a glimpse into the future of self-contained electric travel.

Gear, Gadgets, and Waterborne Drama
From cutting-edge helm electronics to compact electric outboards, the show had something for every type of boater. Sea trials and launches brought real-time excitement, while brokers, captains, and enthusiasts traded insights along the docks. Smaller builders stood out with clever demos and hands-on experiences, proving that boutique craftsmanship can leave just as lasting an impression as mega-yachts.

Crowd, Culture, and Commerce
FLIBS blends trade, lifestyle, and entertainment. Attendees ranged from buyers hunting for their next vessel to locals and design enthusiasts curious about maritime trends. Despite its polished and professional atmosphere, the event kept a breezy South Florida energy with sunglasses, coffee breaks, and conversations on the docks.
Why You Should Go
Whether you want to explore cutting-edge marine technology, experience luxury vessels up close, or simply enjoy a weekend immersed in maritime culture, FLIBS offers it all. From intimate boat demos to extravagant superyachts and innovative highlights like Lightship’s electric RV, the show gives every visitor a chance to see the future of boating and travel.
Final Take
FLIBS 2025 proved that after 66 years, the show continues to set the standard. With the Pier Sixty-Six reopening, expanded VIP experiences, engaging family programs, and glimpses of sustainable innovation, it reminded everyone why Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of the world. The event is not just about boats. It’s about horsepower, high design, human ingenuity, and the thrill of maritime adventure all in one place.

Inside Palace Bar’s Haus of Gucci Ball
Between flying queens, strong pours, and a room full of Pride week energy, Palace turned Friday night into one of the hottest parties on Ocean Drive.
April 11, 2026
During Miami Beach Pride Week, plenty of venues try to capture the moment, but Palace Bar made Friday night feel like the place everyone wanted to be. The Haus of Gucci Ball brought together drag, fashion, nightlife, and the kind of high energy crowd that made the whole evening feel elevated from the start.
The atmosphere hit immediately. Palace was glowing, the music kept the room alive, and the crowd was fully locked in. It felt vibrant, glamorous, and very Miami Beach. More than just a dinner outing, the night unfolded like a full Pride experience on Ocean Drive.
The clear highlight was a queen whose acrobatic performance completely took over the room. She moved with an incredible mix of strength, control, and confidence, turning the floor into her stage and delivering a routine that felt both dazzling and deeply seductive. At one point, she was flipping around on a man with such effortless precision that the whole crowd seemed to stop at once. It was captivating, sexy, and easily one of the most memorable moments of the night.
The food and drinks absolutely kept up. We had the filet bites and tuna tostones, both perfect for sharing between performances, along with skinny margaritas and lemon drops that were dangerously easy to drink. And yes, Palace was pouring strong, which only added to the fun. The cocktails matched the mood of the night perfectly: bold, smooth, and hard to stop ordering.
What makes Palace Bar work so well during Miami Beach Pride is that the energy never drops. The performers are not just part of the background. They pull the whole room in. The crowd responds, the music keeps moving, and the night keeps building. That kind of momentum is exactly what makes an event feel worth showing up for.
The Haus of Gucci Ball was one part of Palace Bar’s larger Miami Beach Pride Week programming, which has helped make the venue one of the biggest draws on Ocean Drive this week. With events spanning multiple days, Palace has become a go to destination for people looking for drag performances, nightlife, rooftop energy, DJs, and a crowd that wants to celebrate Pride in full.
That is what makes Palace such a fixture during Miami Beach Pride Week. It is not just about location or history. It is about creating nights that actually feel exciting once you are there. Friday night’s Haus of Gucci Ball had the glamour, the chemistry, the performances, and the kind of atmosphere that kept people fully engaged from beginning to end.
If you were at Palace Bar on Friday night, you already know how good it was. If you missed it, this was one of those Miami Beach Pride nights worth hearing about.
