Mobb Deep in Delay: Brewing Patience in Miami

Queensbridge Legends Hit Miami’s Lincoln Beard Brewery…Eventually: A Night of Brews, Smoke, and Hip-Hop Anticipation.

August 15th, 2025

Doors opened at 8 p.m., but by 12:30 a.m. Mobb Deep still hadn’t hit the stage. The legendary Queensbridge group now represented solely by Havoc since Prodigy’s passing in 2017 was the reason everyone came out, but the wait tested patience. Plenty of local artists filled the time and showed love for the culture, but the crowd was really there for Mobb Deep, and the late start killed the energy for some of us.

The DJ did his best to stretch things out, but eventually even he was running out of tracks, apologizing to a New York-heavy fan base that had basically taken over this little pocket of Miami by the airport. Management brushed it off as “hip-hop artists always run late,” but being more than two hours behind schedule was rough.

The brewery itself is a beautiful spot inside and outside with the outdoor area giving permission to indulge in a smoke-filled atmosphere (the real HIGHlight of the night, shoutout to @305.elplug and @mister_mengano for the natural plants) check them out on InstagramThe food was on point too. The bacon smash burger alone almost made up for the wait.

The crowd leaned heavily malewhat I was calling a “sausage fest” but the energy was definitely New York strong. After 4.5 hours of waiting, this writer decided to tap out and head to my best friend’s birthday party with LiveParty Entertainment (honestly, the brewery’s promotion team should consider hiring them; they could use the help).

Mobb Deep did eventually perform, but I can’t speak on the show itself since I left before it started. For me, the night was more about the vibes, the food, and the smoke than the music. A legendary name was on the bill, but the timing made it a miss.
