Pusha T and Malice Prove They’re Still Untouchable As The “Let God Sort Em Out” Tour Hits South Florida  – Photos and Review of the Clipse Concert at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, FL

Clipse—the legendary rap duo consisting of brothers Pusha T and Malice—brought their  electrifying stage presence to the Fillmore Miami Beach last night, delivering a powerhouse performance in support of their highly anticipated new album “Let God Sort Em Out. The legendary venue, nestled in the heart of scenic downtown Miami Beach just minutes away from the iconic Lincoln Road, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of hip-hop excellence. With Earthgang setting the stage on fire as the opening act, the night was primed to be something that fans will remember for a long time .

The evening kicked off with a dynamic set from Earthgang, the Atlanta-based duo consisting of Olu and WowGr8 known for their eclectic mix of Southern rap, psychedelic beats, and high-energy performances that reminded me of early OutKast. The pair had the crowd moving from the first note as they tore through fan favorites like “WATERBOYZ“, “Meditate“, and “This Side“, blending rapid-fire flows with soulful hooks. Earthgang brought an infectious energy that resonated with the Miami audience, and their chemistry was undeniable as they traded verses effortlessly while engaging the crowd with call-and-response chants. By the time they closed their set with the anthemic “Bobby Boucher“, the Fillmore was buzzing, fully primed for the main event.

As the lights dimmed and the opening notes of “Let God Sort Em Out’s” intro track played, the crowd erupted, and Pusha T and Malice emerged exuding the same magnetic presence that has defined their decades-long career. The brothers wasted no time, diving straight into “Chains and Whips“, the controversial single that caused the album’s release to be delayed for almost a year and resulted in Clipse and Pusha T leaving Def Jam. The duo seamlessly blended new cuts like “Popular Demand” with classic material (“What Happened to That Boy”, “Keys Open Doors”), reminding fans why they remain one of hip-hop’s most revered acts, with Pusha’s signature coke-rap bravado cutting through the speakers while Malice delivered his verses with a preacher’s conviction.

One of the night’s standout moments came when Clipse performed “Mr Me Too“, a fan-favorite deep cut during which the duo’s longtime producer Pharrell Williams came on stage to sing with the group. The chemistry between Pusha and Malice was easy to see—each verse was delivered with precision, and each ad-lib perfectly timed. Tracks like “Grindin’” and “Cot Damn” from their “Lord Willin’” era sent the crowd into a frenzy, while newer offerings like “Ace Trumpets” and “The Birds Don’t Sing” showcased their evolved lyrical prowess. Finishing up their time on stage with their smash hit “Virginia” and “So Far Ahead” from their new album, the duo proved once again why they remain untouchable in the rap game. With “Let God Sort Em Out marking a bold new chapter in their legacy, last night’s performance solidified that Clipse isn’t just back—they’re sharper than ever.
