Amp Jam: A New Funk Era Begins in Live Oak, FL
Amp Jam’s Inaugural Festival Promises a High-Energy Fusion of Jam and Funk, Featuring Gov’t Mule, Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, and an All-Star George Porter Jr. Tribute.
February 24th, 2025
For those who crave deep grooves, dirty funk, and jams that stretch into the cosmos, Amp Jam is bringing the heat March 6-8, 2025, at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
Anchored by Gov’t Mule, Lettuce, and Dumpstaphunk, this three-night funk-fest is stacked with legends and heavy hitters. The weekend features a special Daze Between tribute to the one and only George Porter Jr., with an all-star squad including John Scofield, Eric Krasno and Jennifer Hartswick, plus the funk maestro himself. Expect deep-pocket grooves from Eggy, The Headhunters, Electric Kif, and more, keeping the vibes high and the bass lines nasty.

This ain’t just any festival Amp Jam is the first of a new breed, a raw, intimate celebration of the hallowed Amphitheater Stage, where musical magic has gone down for decades. With the towering pines, Spanish moss swaying in the breeze, and nothing but funky decisions all weekend long, this is where the real heads gather to dance, connect, and let the music take over.
South Florida Insider will be in the mix so grab your crew, lace up those dancing shoes, and get ready to ride the groove train at Amp Jam!
