18 Title Winners Set to Compete at Miami Open
Miami Open presented by Itaú Set to Welcome Star-Studded Player Field; Entry List Includes 18 2025 Title Winners

The men’s and women’s fields include a combined 18 players who have won titles this season. The entry lists also feature 15 past Grand Slam tournament champions and 31 players who have won a combined 124 titles at ATP and WTA 1000-level tournaments.
Four past men’s winners are in the field, led by No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz (2022), who is joined by No. 6 Daniil Medvedev (2023), No. 20 Hubert Hurkacz (2021) and six-time Miami Open champion Novak Djokovic, who is looking to make his first Miami Open appearance since 2019. Four previous finalists are also in the field, including current Top 10 members Alexander Zverev (No. 2) and Casper Ruud (No. 5) as well as Grigor Dimitrov and Kei Nishikori.
Defending champion Danielle Collins is one of a trio of former women’s winners in the field, joined by Iga Swiatek (2022) and three-time winner Victoria Azarenka. The entire WTA Top 10, led by No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and No. 2 Swiatek, is entered along with No. 7 Elena Rybakina, who has been runner-up in each of the past two years. She’s joined by other past finalists Naomi Osaka and Jelena Ostapenko in the field.
Ranked No. 12, Collins is one of six Americans in the WTA Top 20 in the Miami Open field, joined by No. 3 Coco Gauff, No. 5 Jessica Pegula, last month’s Australian Open champion and No. 6 Madison Keys, No. 9 Emma Navarro and No. 18 Amanda Anisimova. Four Americans ranked inside the ATP’s Top 20 are among the men’s entries: No. 4 Taylor Fritz, No. 9 Tommy Paul, No. 13 Ben Shelton and No. 18 Frances Tiafoe.
A total of 25 players – 12 men and 13 women – aged 22-and-under are in the fields, led by 21-year-old Alcaraz and Gauff, who will turn 21 on March 13. The youngest ATP player will be 18-year-old Joao Fonseca while for the WTA it will be 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva.
The entries include every eligible man in the Top 77 of the ATP rankings and woman in the Top 72 of the WTA rankings, and they include players representing 37 countries. In addition, the following players have entered with an injury protected ranking: Jenson Brooksby, Nick Kyrgios, Reilly Opelka, Sorana Cirstea, Lauren Davis and Caty McNally.
Alongside this elite field of men’s and women’s tennis players, the event will again host the Miami Open Wheelchair Invitational during the second week while padel will make its debut with the Publix Padel Cup in association with RedPADEL.
Known for its world-class culinary experience, the Miami Open presented by Itaú will once again welcome more than 40 restaurants and bars this year as organizers aim to infuse tennis with the iconic culture of Miami. New this year are popular eateries such as Fabel and Miami Slice along with returning favorites like Kiki on the River and OMAKAI. The official cocktail of the tournament, the Ace Paloma, will also be available at the Dobel Tequila Club in Palm Court and at locations throughout the campus.
