Sunset Tequila Festival Returns Bigger and Bolder in its sophomore year.

Boasting an impressive lineup of 30+ tequila and spirit brands, the Sunset Tequila Festival truly delivered on its promise of a tequila and mezcal wonderland. From the renowned Teremana to the exotic Mezcal Union, attendees had the opportunity to indulge in tastings of some of the world’s finest libations. A personal favorite was the cotton candy infused with Calirosa Tequila. The inclusion of a Cocktail Competition added an exciting live element, showcasing the talents of four skilled mixologists vying for the coveted $3,000 cash prize.

However, no fiesta is complete without food, and the Sunset Tequila Festival delivered on this front as well. Attendees were spoiled with a variety of restaurant pop-ups for purchase, including The Wolf of Tacos x Topo Chico experience, How Ya Dough’n, Lazy Oyster, Jenny with the Pot, Palm Beach Meats, Guaca Go, Tacos el Machine Gon, Andale Miami, The Dutch Fry, Miami Sabor Latino, Dolly’s Table, Luchadough and more.

The fusion of flavors added a delightful culinary dimension to the event, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate.

For those seeking an elevated experience, VIP ticket holders were treated to early admission, exclusive access to the Proximo Lounge with complimentary cocktails, and bites from acclaimed establishments like Even Keel and Kapow Noodle Bar. The addition of a balcony concert viewing area, private bathrooms, and a hydration IV from IV Wellness truly elevated the VIP experience to new heights.

While food and drinks were definitely a highlight, the festival’s musical lineup was equally impressive, featuring the playful indie hip-hop duo Little Stranger, whose infectious vibe echoed a blend of Gorillaz and Twenty One Pilots. Alongside them were South Florida’s soulful big-band reggae artists The Resolvers, Spred The Dub, and DJ Le Spam, creating a diverse and vibrant musical atmosphere that perfectly complemented the spirits on offer.

With top-notch spirits, live music, and tasty cuisine, all set against the vibrant backdrop of Mizner Park Amphitheater, I can’t wait to see what the organizers do for year 3.

A portion of the festival’s proceeds benefited Kula Cares, a Boca Raton-based organization providing educational supplies to underserved communities.
