Mayhem and Mystery Caps Off III Points’ Wild Finish: Day Two
III Points’ Closing Day Showcases An Incredible Juxtaposition Between Dom Dolla’s Electronic Grooves, Turnstile’s Punk Rock Fury and Mk.Gee & Darkside’s Hypnotic Grooves – Feature on the III Points Music and Art Festival at Mana Wynwood in Miami, FL
If Friday at III Points was a lesson in funky, global grooves, then Saturday was a masterclass in raw, unadulterated power and sonic contrast. The day began with a sense of anticipation, with the Wynwood concrete still holding the energy from the night before as fans streamed in. From the relentless energy of punk and hardcore to the hypnotic pull of deep house and experimental electronica, the festival’s second day showcased the breathtaking breadth of its musical vision, solidifying its status as Miami’s most interesting cultural event.

The art installations, now familiar landmarks, took on a new life under the Saturday sun as dusk began to set in and the crowds faced a delightful dilemma of choices. The Despacio discoteca continued to be a magnetic force, it’s timeless selections providing a constant, soulful heartbeat for the festival. For those seeking a different kind of transcendence, the options were equally profound. The enigmatic MK.Gee captivated audiences on the Mind Melt stage with his warped, textural guitar work and lo-fi soul, a display of quiet innovation that held crowds in rapt attention. Darkside—the experimental duo of Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington—cast a hypnotic spell with their shadowy, deconstructed psychedelic blues and intricate soundscapes. It was music for getting lost in, a heady and immersive counterpoint to the upcoming chaos that allowed fans to space out before they rage out.

That catharsis found its parallel in the explosive performance of Turnstile. The Baltimore hardcore band has achieved a rare transcendence, channeling the punk rock aggression of their roots into anthems of universal connection. Their set was a whirlwind of stage-diving, crowd-surfing, and sheer elation, transforming a hardcore show into a celebration of communal joy. It was a headline-worthy performance that will be etched into III Points lore for years to come. On the Sector 3 stage, Australian punks Amyl and the Sniffers also delivered a set of pure, unrefined fury. Frontwoman Amy Taylor was a whirlwind of chaotic charisma, screaming, stomping, and commanding the mosh pit with a primal energy that was impossible to ignore.

As the night reached its peak, the festival united under the thumping command of Dom Dolla. The Australian house maestro turned the Mind Melt main stage into a colossal, open-air club, delivering a relentless set of anthems. The sea of people moved as one, a synchronized mass of dancing bodies, hands in the air, as the basslines rolled out across Wynwood. It was a euphoric, powerful conclusion to the musical journey, and Dom took the crowd all the way through to the 4 am curfew of the final day.

And as the final echoes of music faded, the festival already began to look forward. With the close of its triumphant 2025 edition, the announcement came: III Points will return to Miami in 2026. The future is bright, and fans are encouraged to plan ahead. The most dedicated can secure their Prophet Pass tickets for next year in a few days at iiipoints.com with just a $0.01 deposit. General tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday, October 23rd at 3:33pm ET/12:33pm PT. As the crowds spilled out onto the streets, the memories of punk rock fury, hypnotic grooves, and artistic discovery lingered, a promise that the heart of Wynwood will beat to this singular rhythm once again.
