The 80’s Shredders Deliver Another Shocker of a Performance to South Florida – Photos and Review of the Tesla Concert at “The Stage at The Coco” at the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek, FL

80’s Rock enthusiasts gathered from all over South Florida this weekend at The Stage at The Coco, the outdoor venue at Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek for a night of high-voltage classic rock-n-roll performances. The legendary rock band Tesla headlined the event, delivering a powerhouse set that left the audience buzzing with excitement, while the opening act, Fastest Land Animal, set the tone for the night, warming up the crowd with their energetic and dynamic throwback performance. Kicking off the night was Fastest Land Animal, and their set was the perfect appetizer for the main event as they delivered a mix of original tracks and high-energy covers from the glam metal era that got the crowd moving. The band’s tight musicianship and engaging stage presence made it clear why they were chosen to open for a rock powerhouse like Tesla, and by the time they left the stage, the audience was primed and ready for the headliners.

As the sun set and the stage lights illuminated the night, Tesla finally emerged to a roaring welcome from the crowd. Known for their timeless hits and electrifying live performances, the band came fresh off the Monsters of Rock cruise and were ready to bring another night of 80’s hard rock madness to their fans. Tesla launched into a setlist that spanned their decades-long career with “Rock Me To The Top” and “Modern Day Cowboy“, blending classic anthems and newer songs like “All About Love” with deeper cuts that delighted long-time fans. Highlights included fan favorites like “Hang Tough”“Love Song”, and “From The Heart”, which had the crowd singing along at the top of their lungs. The band also showcased their musical prowess with extended solos and jam sessions between songs, proving that they are still at the top of their game.

What made the night truly special was the connection between the band and the audience. Tesla’s frontman, Jeff Keith, engaged the crowd with his signature raspy vocals and charismatic stage presence, while guitarists Frank Hannon and Dave Rude traded blistering riffs and solos. The rhythm section, anchored by bassist Brian Wheat and drummer Steve Brown, provided a rock-solid foundation that kept the energy levels sky-high throughout the night. The outdoor setting of The Stage at The Coco added to the magic of the evening. The cool Florida breeze, the starry sky, and the state-of-the-art sound system created the perfect atmosphere for a night of rock ‘n’ roll. Fans of all ages came together to celebrate the music, proving that Tesla’s appeal transcends generations.

As the night drew to a close, Tesla left the crowd with one final burst of energy, closing out their set with a show-stopping performance of one of their most famous songs, “Little Suzi”. The audience, still buzzing from the electrifying performance, cheered for an encore, and the band returned to deliver one last song in the form of “Signs”, sending everyone home with smiles on their faces and ringing in their ears. From the high-energy opening by Fastest Land Animal to Tesla’s unforgettable set, the night was a showcase of rock music at its finest. For those lucky enough to be in attendance, it was a reminder of why Tesla remains one of the most beloved bands in the genre. If you missed this show, keep an eye out for their next tour—Tesla is a band that truly knows how to deliver a night of pure rock magic.
