A highlight of the show was the special guest appearance by Tab Virgil Jr., better known as Turk, a key member of the iconic Hot Boys group. Turk, also known as “Hot Boy Turk” or “Young Turk,” was met with deafening cheers as he joined Juvenile on stage. He brought the house down with performances of his solo hits, including “Bout Whatever,” “Get It From Her Mama,” “I Got That Fire,” and “Dat Gurl.” The crowd’s response was electric, showing that Turk’s legacy still resonates strongly with fans.

Juvenile’s setlist was packed with fan favorites and timeless hits, taking the audience on a journey through his extensive catalog. He performed classics like “Ha,” “Set It Off,” “Rich Niggaz,” and “400 Degreez,” delivering each track with the same energy and charisma that made them iconic. The crowd erupted for songs like “U Understand,” “Rodeo,” and “Go DJ,” which he dedicated to his Cash Money labelmate Lil Wayne. Other highlights included “Big Ballin,” “Real Big,” “Get Your Roll On,” and the New Orleans anthem “Nolia Clap.” Paying tribute to the Big Tymers, he performed “Still Fly,” and the crowd went wild when he teamed up with Turk for hits like “I Need a Hot Girl” and “Project Bitch.” He kept the momentum going with “Bling Bling” and “Shine,” setting the stage for an unforgettable finale.

Juvenile saved the best for last, closing the night with an explosive performance of “Back That Azz Up” which I remember dancing to at my wedding in the year 2000. The smoked-out venue erupted into a straight up party with everyone singing along and dancing. It was a perfect ending to an perfect night, solidifying the track’s status as one of the greatest hip-hop anthems of all time.
The Fillmore Miami Beach provided the perfect setting for this classic yet electrifying performance. The sound quality was impeccable, and the intimate vibe of the venue allowed for an up-close experience with the artists. The night felt like a true celebration of Southern hip-hop, with Juvenile, Turk, and The 400 Degreez Band bringing their A-game.
