Rhythm of the Cup Series: Chromeo Ignites Miami Beach Bandshell.
Chromeo Brings Synths, Swagger and Nonstop Energy to Miami Beach’s Most Intimate Stage.
July 17, 2026
Concluding the Rhythm of the Cup Series at the Miami Beach Bandshell, Chromeo brought the fun and funk to kickoff World Cup championship weekend. Chromeo, composed of the fabulous “Funk Lordz” duo of Dave 1 and Pee Thug, delivered energy-packed, synth-laced day-one-hits like “Fancy Footwork,” “Night by Night,” “Jealous,” “Bonafied Lovin,” and “Needy Girl.”
Practically sitting on the sand in the heart of Miami Beach, the Miami Beach Bandshell is one of the most unique, intimate, and downright charming places to see live music in South Florida.

The Bandshell’s historic architecture, ocean breeze, and tight layout made the show feel personal. Chromeo was close-up and the fans could really feel the vibe. After years without a Chromeo concert anywhere near South Florida, giving the fans this kind of intimate experience was truly memorable. Every song landed and the packed crowd of diverse faces and ages danced and sang along the entire show.
Blending sports, music, culture, and community into one unforgettable experience after another, Rhythm of the Cup, produced by Dayglo Presents and GMP Live, brought Thievery Corporation, Poolside, High Fade and multiple World Cup watch parties to the South Florida sand. For visitors and locals, the series provided an easy home base for tournament fun.
Chromeo was the perfect exclamation point to the Rhythm of the Cup series. A final burst of funk, energy, and swagger, in paradise! Of course, the fans would surely welcome the World Cup, Rhythm of the Cup and Chromeo back soon. Game on!
