Get Ready for Wild Stories and Extreme Comedy as Steve-O Brings His Forbidden Show to the Kravis Center.

The iconic entertainer chats about what to expect and more.

June 26th, 2024

This weekend, Steve-O will take the stage at the Kravis Center, promising an unforgettable performance that will leave audiences both in stitches and utterly bewildered. For those still on the fence about attending, Steve-O has a tantalizing preview that might just push you over the edge.

“It’s a multimedia comedy show where I explore the line and the times it’s been crossed,” Steve-O explains. “We’re talking about stuff that was too crazy for ‘Jackass’ and even YouTube. It’s too insane for, well, anywhere really.” This “forbidden show” dives into the deep end of Steve-O’s wildest antics, aiming to push boundaries and test the waters for his next tour, “Steve-O Has Gone Too Far.”

When asked if he ever worries about crossing the line, Steve-O says, “I definitely get nervous about certain things. I’ve done things I sorely regret and some things I don’t feel bad about at all and I come clean about that in the show.” He admits the line varies depending on the situation, and his feelings about his past actions are mixed. Reflecting on the increasing sensitivity over the years, Steve-O shares, “These internet sleuths came after me too. I get deeply into that in the show as well.”

Steve-O’s penchant for outrageous stunts began early. “I was a buffoon out of the womb, and I still am,” he jokes, recounting a recent prank where he woke up on the asphalt after sleeping on a bed tied to a Tesla Cybertruck. “My buddies very quietly got that footage of getting in that thing and flooring it.”

The camaraderie among Steve-O and his friends, as well as the wider community of skateboarders, “Jackass,” and “Wild Boyz” alumni, remains strong. “It’s always been that way and it continues to be,” he says. Discussing his numerous injuries, Steve-O views them as both badges of honor and moments of questionable judgment. “I’ve got all kinds of scars and notches in my belt. It’s a bit of both.”

The upcoming show will feature stunts and stories too extreme for television, giving fans a sneak peek at material from his “Gone Too Far” tour. Steve-O aims to continuously push the envelope, delivering humor that is uniquely his own. Recalling his time on “Dancing with the Stars,” Steve-O admits it was a challenging period due to his early sobriety. “When I did Dancing with the Stars, I was newly clean and sober. I was kind of a bag of nerves just because it was early sobriety. It made the experience kind of a miserable one for me.”

While a return to reality TV isn’t high on his list, Steve-O’s knack for improvisation and resilience would make him a compelling contestant on shows like “Survivor.” Could you imagine the things he’d be willing to do to win the game?

Maintaining sobriety for over 15 years, Steve-O credits his success to willingness and commitment. “It’s about showing people what you’ve done yourself,” he says. “Millions have shown us what works and what doesn’t. I just continue to protect my sobriety because it matters to me.” Steve-O’s career has always been about pushing boundaries and delivering unique humor. He doesn’t see himself going further after the “Gone Too Far” tour, hinting that this might be his final stretch in physical comedy. “I’m not going to try and outdo the physical things that I will be doing.”

For fans eagerly awaiting the show at the Kravis Center, Steve-O promises a wild ride full of laughter and jaw-dropping moments. “Get ready to see a lot of wild stuff and laugh pretty hard,” he concludes with a grin.
