Step into Neverland in a Reimagined Magical Peter Pan Adventure at Miami’s Arsht Center!

An enchanting production of the beloved Broadway classic, Peter Pan, graced the stage of the Arsht Center, captivating attendees of all ages with its Neverland-themed charm. The foyer buzzed with excitement as families, adorned in whimsical costumes, eagerly awaited the opening of the theater doors. Amidst the G-rated atmosphere, filled with the warmth of familial bonds and the presence of esteemed educators, anticipation soared.

The timeless tale unfolded with electrifying performances against a backdrop of breathtaking set design, skillful light and shadow play, and remarkable costumes. The ensemble effortlessly transported the audience into the magical world of Peter Pan, eliciting frequent bursts of awe and applause. Accompanied by a mesmerizing orchestral score, the actors infused the stage with boundless energy, bringing to life iconic characters like Peter, Hook and the enchanting Tinker Bell.

Classic melodies such as “I’m Flying,” “I Gotta Crow,” “I Won’t Grow Up,” and “Neverland” filled the air, inviting viewers of all ages to revel in the joyous nostalgia of childhood. For those young at heart, the Arsht Center delivered a delightful rendition of Peter Pan, whisking audiences away on a journey fueled by imagination and wonder. As the final curtain fell, it was evident that this enchanting production had rekindled the magic of Neverland in the hearts of many, offering a timeless escape into the cherished realms of youth.

This high-flying musical extravaganza is running until May 12th. Celebrating close to 70 years of thrilling audiences, this newly-imagined production is helmed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price (Sunset Boulevard, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill), with additional book by celebrated playwright Larissa FastHorse (The Thanksgiving Play, What Would Crazy Horse Do?) and choreography by Lorin Latarro (Waitress, The Who’s Tommy). Seventeen-year-old Nolan Almeida takes on the iconic role of “Peter Pan,” bringing youthful exuberance and talent to the stage. Hailing from Orange County, California, Nolan’s recent portrayal as ‘Crutchie’ in Newsies at 5-Star Theatricals and his appearance in “Christmas on Repeat” on Hulu have solidified his place as a rising star in the world of theater.
