Where It All Began Tour hits South Florida
Island Rhythms, Coastal Vibes and Reggae Rock Unity Take Over Pompano Beach Amphitheater with Iration, SOJA, Tribal Seeds and Artikal Sound System.
May 16th, 2026
The Where It All Began tour rolled into Pompano Beach Amphitheater and transformed South Florida into one giant reggae rock escape for the night. Featuring Iration, SOJA, Tribal Seeds and hometown favorites Artikal Sound System, the evening felt less like a standard concert and more like a gathering built around positivity, grooves, singalongs, and feel-good energy.
From the moment fans started filling into the amphitheater, there was an unmistakable atmosphere hanging in the air. People danced near the barricades, drifted through the aisles with drinks in hand, and settled into their seats while reggae rhythms echoed through the warm South Florida night. Nobody seemed in a rush. It felt like everybody collectively agreed to leave stress outside the gates for a few hours.
Opening the night, Artikal Sound System immediately set the tone with breezy vibes and uplifting energy that perfectly matched the coastal atmosphere. Frontwoman Logan Rex brought a playful charisma to the stage while the band blended reggae grooves, alternative rock textures, and catchy pop hooks into an effortless opening set.

One of the standout early moments came when the band launched into a cover of “Just a Girl” by Garbage. The alternative rock anthem took on a lighter reggae-rock bounce without losing its sarcastic bite, and the crowd instantly responded as more fans continued pouring into the venue. Original songs like Self Sabotage and Right Now fit the mood perfectly. “Self Sabotage” brought a little more punch and attitude into the set with its alt-rock edge, while “Right Now” leaned into smoother melodies and laid-back rhythms that helped create the relaxed atmosphere spreading throughout the amphitheater.
By the end of their performance, the venue had fully shifted into concert mode.
Tribal Seeds followed with a deeper, heavier sound that immediately changed the atmosphere inside the venue. Their set leaned heavily into hypnotic grooves, extended instrumental sections, and roots reggae textures that rolled through the amphitheater with almost meditative force.
Performances of “The Garden” and “In Your Eyes” became defining moments of the set. “The Garden” unfolded with a slow-burning groove that gradually pulled the audience deeper into the band’s trance-like rhythm section. The song’s layered instrumentation and spiritual tone created one of the most immersive stretches of the night as smoke drifted through green and purple stage lights.

“In Your Eyes” brought a more melodic and emotional shift while still maintaining the band’s signature roots-heavy pulse. Fans throughout the amphitheater sang along while swaying to the track’s smooth rhythm and soulful energy. Live, the song carried an almost hypnotic warmth that perfectly fit the humid South Florida evening.
What makes Tribal Seeds stand out in a stacked reggae lineup is their ability to create something moodier and more immersive without losing the audience’s attention. Their set felt less like a collection of separate songs and more like one continuous wave of rhythm flowing through the venue.
Then came SOJA, who delivered the emotional centerpiece of the evening.
From the moment Jacob Hemphill stepped onstage, the crowd connection became undeniable. SOJA balanced uplifting positivity with emotional sincerity, creating massive singalongs throughout the amphitheater while still carrying the deeper themes that have always defined the band’s music.

According to the night’s setlist, the band rolled through favorites including “Rest of My Life,” “True Love,” “I Believe,” “Not Done Yet” and “You Don’t Know Me.”
“Rest of My Life” turned into one giant communal singalong as thousands of voices echoed throughout the amphitheater. “True Love” brought a more reflective atmosphere, with couples swaying and phone lights glowing across the crowd. Meanwhile, “Not Done Yet” injected a jolt of energy into the middle of the set with its uplifting momentum and message of perseverance.

SOJA’s music has always balanced groove with purpose, and live, that emotional honesty became impossible to ignore. Their performance never felt overly polished or rehearsed. It felt genuine, lived-in, and deeply connected to the audience in front of them.
By the time Iration hit the stage, the amphitheater was fully locked in.
Iration’s music feels tailor-made for warm outdoor nights near the water, and the South Florida setting could not have suited them better. The band sounded incredibly tight from the opening moments, effortlessly blending reggae grooves with polished harmonies, laid-back melodies, and punchy rhythms.

Fans erupted for staples like “Time Bomb,” “Falling,” “Summer Nights” and “Automatic.” “Time Bomb” brought one of the night’s biggest bursts of energy with its infectious chorus and upbeat pulse, while “Falling” leaned into smoother melodies and romantic reggae-pop textures. “Summer Nights” perfectly matched the atmosphere of the evening, feeling almost custom-built for a humid Florida concert night, and “Automatic” kept the crowd dancing with its breezy hooks and effortless rhythm.

What stood out most throughout the night was how cohesive the lineup felt despite each band bringing a completely different flavor to the stage. Artikal Sound System delivered youthful alternative energy and fun crowd interaction. Tribal Seeds brought depth, atmosphere, and hypnotic roots grooves. SOJA added emotional resonance and crowd unity. Iration tied everything together with feel-good coastal melodies and laid-back reggae rock hooks.
For a few hours, Pompano Beach traded traffic noise and daily stress for island rhythms under the South Florida sky. Nobody seemed eager to leave once the lights finally came up, and honestly, that may have been the biggest compliment the night could receive.
