March 26th, 2024

Located in the picturesque surroundings of Boca Raton, Corvina Seafood Grill offers an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant’s thoughtful amenities include complimentary valet service, setting a welcoming tone from the moment guests arrive. Throughout our evening, the staff, from the gracious hostess Ava to our attentive waiter Alex and manager Veronica, ensured our dining experience was nothing short of delightful.

We began our meal with refreshing mocktails, the Cosno and cucumber lemonade, which were expertly crafted and satisfying even without alcohol. Accompanying our drinks were warm and freshly baked popovers, a delightful introduction to the meal. For those opting for alcoholic beverages, the bar offered an extensive selection of handcrafted cocktails, artisanal beers, and carefully curated wines, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Selecting appetizers proved to be a delightful challenge given the enticing array of options, including chilled and hot starters, soups and salads. Ultimately, we savored the crispiness of the shrimp & rice noodle spring rolls, their delicate crunch layered in a delectable, sweet chili nam pal sauce. The lobster & roasted butternut squash bisque captivated our palates with its velvety texture, enhanced by the subtle crunch of pumpkin seeds.

For our main courses, guided by our knowledgeable waiter, we indulged in the crispy Thai red snapper and blackened swordfish. The red snapper, served whole yet expertly deboned, offered a tantalizing burst of flavor, its spices dancing on the tongue with each bite. Meanwhile, the locally caught swordfish, perfectly seared and accompanied by a delightful mango dipping sauce, melted in our mouths, complemented by the robust flavors of roasted Brussel sprouts.

Despite feeling satiated, we couldn’t resist indulging in dessert. While disappointed that the chocolate baklava cheesecake was unavailable, we were pleasantly surprised by the ooey gooey butter cake, recommended by our waiter. Its warm, cinnamon-infused goodness took over our senses, perfectly paired with velvety vanilla ice cream, making it a delicious finale to our meal. It was really difficult exercising restraint not to eat it all, even though it’s meant to serve four people.

As we prepared to depart, we were treated to a delightful surprise of house-made caramel popcorn, a fitting conclusion to a memorable dining experience. Situated in Palmetto Place Plaza, Corvina Seafood Grill offers happy hour specials, live entertainment and a diverse menu curated under the direction of Executive Chef Jeff Tunks. Under the leadership of Eddie and Christina Pozzuoli, Corvina continues to uphold its reputation for excellence in hospitality and cuisine.
