Mickey’s Search Party Skates Into Pure Wonder

Bright Costumes, Big Smiles, and Bigger Moments Fill the Ice as Disney Magic Takes Center Stage in Coral Gables.

April 18th, 2026

The lights dip inside the Watsco Center and a hush glides across the crowd. Then the music sparkles to life and the ice turns into something far more enchanted than a rink. It becomes a story in motion.

Families arrive dressed for the occasion as if the wardrobe memo came straight from a fairy tale. Tiny Elsas shimmer in blue. Buzz Lightyears zoom through aisles. Mickey ears bob like confetti in motion. Smiles stretch wide, eyes lock in, and for a moment the entire arena feels like it stepped into the same dream.

Cue Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, skating in with a mission that sets the tone and keeps the momentum twirling all night long. Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party hits the ice with a burst of color, charm, and just the right amount of mischief to keep every age group happily along for the ride.

The adventure glides from one Disney world to the next with the kind of pace that keeps attention hooked tighter than a skate lace. One moment bursts with the glowing rhythm of Coco, where the ice practically dances along with the music, then the journey sweeps into the rolling, wave-like energy of Moana, where the entire arena feels like it caught an ocean breeze. A quick magic carpet detour with Aladdin adds a little high-flying flair, while Toy Story brings playful chaos that lands with a laugh. Then comes a graceful glide into Beauty and the Beast, where elegance takes center stage, before Frozen arrives to cool things down in the best possible way, sending a chill of excitement through the crowd that feels anything but cold.

Just when the skating settles into a rhythm, the show flips the script and sends it soaring. Performers launch skyward, spin like human tops, and float above the ice in moments that feel straight out of a dream sequence. It’s part skating showcase, part aerial spectacle, and fully committed to keeping jaws gently dropping across the arena.

The real magic, though, lives in the crowd. Toddlers sit wide-eyed, barely blinking. Parents lean forward, caught between capturing the moment and living in it. Grandparents take it all in with the kind of smile that says this feels familiar in the best way. Eyes stay fixated on the spectacle, as if looking away for even a second might mean missing something unforgettable.

The energy keeps skating circles around any chance to slow down. One moment spins into the next, songs flow into scenes, and before long the entire arena feels wrapped in a blanket of music, motion, and memory-making.

By the time the final moments glide across the ice, the feeling lingers. Not just applause, not just excitement, but that warm, glowing sense that something special took place.

Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party at the Watsco Center delivers a dazzling, toe-pick tapping, sparkle-packed experience that brings out the kid in everyone.

From toddlers to grandparents, this one earns a standing ovation and maybe a few happy tears along the way.
