FuelFest South Florida Hits the Gas at Full Volume

FuelFest South Florida Drove a Full Scale Automotive Takeover with Loud Engines, Live Action, and a Festival Feel That Stayed in the Fast Lane.

February 28th, 2026

FuelFest took over the South Florida Fairgrounds with a steady pulse of engines, music, and movement that carried throughout the day.

The layout stretched wide, packed with a mix of imports, exotics, and classic muscle. Some builds were all about clean presentation, sitting low with sharp lines and detailed finishes. Others leaned into performance, louder and more aggressive, drawing attention every time an engine turned over. It created a constant flow, people weaving through rows, stopping, doubling back, and finding something new each time around.

Attention naturally shifted toward the drifting area where the tone changed completely. Tires screeched, smoke rolled across the track, and drivers pushed their cars through tight slides that kept the crowd locked in. It was one of those spots where you’d plan to watch for a few minutes and end up staying far longer. The rhythm of engines, cheers, and movement made it hard to step away.

Guests even had the chance to jump into drift ride-alongs, catch Lucha Libre wrestling matches, take in art installations, and check out cars pulled straight from the big screen. That added range gave the event a different kind of depth. From toddlers taking it all in wide-eyed to those moving a little slower but still fully engaged, the grounds felt welcoming across generations.

Music carried across the grounds, blending into the background without overpowering the experience. Vendors lined the walkways with gear, food, and displays that gave people reasons to pause between the cars and the track. Everything felt connected without competing for attention.

What stood out most was how naturally everything flowed together. You could spend time studying the details of a build, shift over to the drifting action, grab something to eat, and circle back without feeling like you were missing anything. The event stayed active without feeling rushed.

The crowd brought its own mix. Enthusiasts talking shop, families taking it all in, and plenty of cameras capturing every angle. Some knew every detail under the hood, others just appreciated the look and sound. It all blended into the same shared space without any disconnect.

As the day moved on, the lighting shifted and the cars started to take on a different look. Reflections deepened, colors popped a little more, and the overall feel leaned into something more atmospheric. The energy held steady, carried by the same combination of engines, music, and movement that defined the entire experience.

FuelFest delivered a setting that stayed engaging without trying too hard. Strong builds, real action on the track, and an environment that kept people moving and paying attention the whole way through.

Surfside’s Paddletopia 2026 Served Up Sunshine, Sweat, and Veggie-Packed Bites

Veggies Made Great helped fuel a family-friendly weekend of free workouts, paddleboarding, coffee, small bites, and feel-good fun at 96th Street Park.

May 18, 2026

Surfside brought the good vibes this weekend with Paddletopia 2026, a two-day wellness and outdoor lifestyle event that turned 96th Street Park into a sunny little hub for movement, community, and family-friendly fun.

Held on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event welcomed kids, adults, fitness lovers, coffee drinkers, paddleboarders, and anyone looking for a fresh-air weekend by the water. The best part? So many of the experiences were free, making it easy for families and locals to drop in, move around, and enjoy the day without overthinking it.

The workout classes were a highlight, bringing plenty of energy to the park with approachable, upbeat sessions that made wellness feel fun instead of intimidating. Between the fitness classes, paddleboarding, live music, wellness activations, and relaxed outdoor atmosphere, Paddletopia had that perfect South Florida mix of active and easygoing.

Of course, no great weekend event is complete without good bites. Veggies Made Great, an official event partner, kept guests fueled with complimentary samples of their veggie-packed favorites, including the Spinach Egg White Frittata and Lemon Blueberry Muffin. The samples were a smart fit for the day: light, wholesome, tasty, and easy to enjoy between activities. Paired with coffee and other small bites available throughout the event, it made for the kind of simple, satisfying spread that both kids and adults could get behind.

The event also had a thoughtful environmental angle through the “Paddle for Plastic” initiative with Plastic Fisherman, encouraging attendees to help clean Surfside canals in exchange for eco-friendly rewards. It added a meaningful layer to the weekend, blending wellness, community, and environmental care in a way that felt natural for a coastal town like Surfside.

Overall, Paddletopia 2026 felt like exactly what a South Florida weekend should be: outdoorsy, welcoming, active, delicious, and just a little bit sun-kissed. From free fitness classes to better-for-you snacks and community-focused fun, Surfside gave families a reason to get outside and enjoy the best of wellness by the water.
