Frothy Fun, Flavorful Brews, and Endless Cheers: How West Palm Turned Downtown into a Liquid Playground.

August 16th, 2025

If you thought the 4th annual West Palm Beach Beerfest couldn’t get any hoppier, this year they spiritedly raised the bar by bringing in craft spirits alongside the brews. On Saturday, 521 Clematis Street buzzed with frosty pours, funky vibes and the kind of party energy that only summer in South Florida can deliver.

From the very first cheers of the night, the libations had everyone feeling loose whether you were sipping a silky whiskey, chasing a crisp lager or letting a locally crafted spirit tickle your fancy. Let’s just say the only thing that rose faster than the party spirit was the temperature…cue a sweaty dance floor, but thankfully there were more than a few spots of shaded vendors. Yes, the South Florida heat played its part, especially as mentioned the vendors stationed under the open sun. But, this is August in West Palm so it was more sizzle than fizzle. Plus, with those strategically placed shaded spots indoors, the good times kept rolling, no meltdown required.

The lineup was nothing less than a liquid buffet of flavor. With stellar taps like Lagunitas Brewing Company, Funky Buddha, Purity Distillery, Offshoot Beer Co., Sixpoint Brewery and Collective Arts Brewing on hand, each pour felt like a VIP ticket to taste town. And let’s not forget the mouthwatering eats from Lilo’s Streetfood & Bar, because good food and great booze are like beer and pretzels: best enjoyed together.

Beyond the bubbly and the bites, what made this festival truly special was its soul. A portion of ticket proceeds go straight back to the participating breweries and distilleries, helping independent creators stay afloat in today’s tough economy. Between the savvy sips, the community cheers, and the downtown buzz this festival was a crafty community celebration.

Bottom line: if you missed out, you missed one of the most “spirited” nights West Palm has seen. Be sure to mark next year now, because just like a barrel-aged stout, the West Palm Beach Beerfest only gets richer with time. Now go raise that glass one more time, cheers!
