The second half of the show only deepened the wonder, with scores from Dune, The Last Samurai, Dunkirk, Interstellar, The Lion King and encores of James Bond “No Time to Die” and Inception. All night the audience sat in rapt attention—no side conversations, not even a pin drop could be heard. We were all lost in the music.

Easily my favorite show of the year, this was a concert unlike any other. Even with an early morning and a long drive home ahead of me, I didn’t want to miss a single note. The magic Zimmer brought to the stage was truly special, and those in attendance won’t soon forget it. It’s no wonder why tickets for this show quickly sold out. Zimmer’s live performances have consistently earned standing ovations around the world, and this night was no exception.
